Lexa's POV
***********

Me and Clarke both walk to her friend's house, a conversation ongoing - both of us having so much to say.

The sky is a bright blue, the white clouds like candyfloss in the sky. The occasional car drives past but other than that all is quiet.

I learn Clarke's friends names are Raven and Octavia and they all seem really close - so close I feel a bit nervous and like I'm going to be a burden.

"Hey what's up?"

I glance at Clarke, blinking.

"Nothing...," I nod my head.

"That isn't nothing Lexa. You've been silent for two minutes straight."

"Just a little nervous, that's all."

"A bad ass like you frightened? Don't worry I'm here and if you feel uncomfortable we can go - alright?"

I smile at her nodding. It's been a few days and my life feels brighter already with Clarke in it.

Soon enough we reach, but before we can even knock the door opens to reveal a smiling girl with brown hair in a ponytail.

"Hey Ray, this is Lexa."

"Hey - Raven," I state giving the girl a smile.

"Lexa? Finally I get to meet the girl Clarke thought looked -"

Before Raven can finish her sentence Clarke pushes her inside muttering a shut up.

What did Clarke say to them about me?

A number of possibilities swirled through my mind.

But soon enough I forget about it all. Whilst we wait for Octavia we play some games on the X-Box. We both start of with a match on Fifa, Me being Manchester United and Raven picking Arsenal.

"They're really shit Raven," I can't help but comment.

"Please have you seen your team," she laughs.

Early into the football match the door rings and Clarke leaves to get it.

There's a thumping of feet heading up the stairs before another girl walks in.

We pause the game and greetings are exchanged before everyone makes themselves comfortable on the bed.

As Raven and Octavia take a turn playing Forza Motorsport I can't help but glance at Clarke a number of times.

The sunlight streaming in from the gap in the curtains illuminates her face.

Suddenly she turns to look at me, and I quickly pretend to be looking at the race going on. Raven is already three laps ahead of Octavia.

"Go Raven," I cheer earning a glare from Octavia.

"And Octavia," I add.

When I glance back, Clarke is still looking at me and smirks noticing my slight discomfort before looking away.

Soon enough the day fades away, cans of drink around the room, packets of crisps and sweets - and four takeaway noodle boxes in everyone's hands as they sit in a circular shape laughing and talking.
