Zein heard the bell, signaling for the thing school provides, classes. Haruhi waved him a soft short goodbye as they headed to their separate classes.
Zein walked in, gracefully as always. Even if he didn't know it he had an elegance to his ways, but to him he was just normal.
Swiftly making his way to his seat, he sat and listened as the teacher sternly gave the class a lesson on a serious novel they were to read. Intently listening, the dark haired boy wrote down instructions and details in his sleek black notebook.
Halfway through the period they were allowed time to indulge themselves in the novel.
The emerald eyed boy, however, couldn't focus. He felt the uncomfortable sensation of being watched.
He knew who would be possibly looking at him. Though he wouldn't want to give him attention, he flicked his eyes over, and unsurprisingly was met with the grey eyes he had loved.
His heart once again made him feel, a non-desirable feeling..
He flicked his eyes away before he had sunk himself into the almost endless gaze of those steel eyes.
Silently he closed his book, a soft sigh leaving his small lips. He decided to read the book at a later time as he gazed out the overly sized window of the class. Outside the Sakura tree could be spotted, almost taking up the whole view.
The blue clear sky complemented the fair pinkness of the petals on the tree. Giving him a soft feeling in his heart, where the once thorn like stab had taken place.
His once troubling thoughts, turned to a peaceful oasis in a matter of seconds. And he felt content.
As small petals of the lush pink tree fell, he felt his own heart feel as if it was ticking.
Ticking like the clock on the other side of the room..
Counting down until he were to realize the thorn like feeling he had earlier would never truly leave his heart.
Not soon enough anyhow..
