It was later in the night after the Halloween party. Haruhi noticed the immensely tired Zein after he had finally immersed back into the party after his time with Mori. Though the doe eyed girl had no knowledge about it, she went over and asked him if he had wanted to go.

He was half asleep as he gave her a tired smile and nodded. Haruhi didn't feel like carrying the taller boy so she flicked his nose which gave him quite a shock.

Soon enough the two penguins were back in their apartments. The yellow penguin had finished some homework before falling asleep. Meanwhile the previous half asleep penguin could no longer find it easy to sleep, as he kept thinking about the steely eyed boy.

-Zein-

Morning came faster than I wanted it to. Last night I was exhausted but I only got three hours of sleep, curse my active mind. I pouted looking at my alarm clock, but nonetheless got up before Haruhi came in.

As if on cue my doe eyed friend knocked a small tune on my door. I tried to say a come in but was instead over taken with a yawn. Though she got the message.

Waddling her way in, she still had her onesie on and her hair looked almost as messy as it was on her first day at Ouran. Giving her a light smile and wave, I started to look for my uniform.

"So Zein, did you have fun last night?" Haruhi asked while yawning as she was making herself comfortable on my bed.

It was unusual to see Haruhi so reluctant in the morning to go to school. She was usually the one persuading me to get up but roles have switched. I'd hope we didn't switch into a different timeline.

"It was really nice." I commented and started to button up my white dress shirt. "The hosts were really nice to me."

Haruhi chuckled half asleep. "You dating anyone yet." She mumbles jokingly as she laid faced down into my pillow.

Rolling my eyes I puffed my cheeks while adjusting my tie on.

"Ha ha. Quiet Haru." I turned around leaning against my drawers as I stared at Haruhi's form on my bed. The yellow penguin looked like a yellow puddle, "Shouldn't you be getting ready for school, what if we're late."

"I'll be up. In a minute. Or something." Knowing the yellow blob wouldn't move soon enough, I grabbed the comforter and yanked.

"Zein!" Haruhi pouted heavily at me as her penguin butt landed on the floor. I gave her a light smile and headed for the front door to put on my blue blazer.

"I'll see you after club to study!" Haruhi called out as she rushed on her way to class once we passed the pink gates to Ouran. I gave her a small smile and nod, keeping my regular pace to my own classroom.

For a lower classman, Haruhi really was a respectful and comforting person to be around. Unlike Haruhi, I wasn't really a commoner and I lived on my own since the last year. When we were younger however, I was introduced to her as an upper classman and asked to tutor her. Once I got to know her and saw how great we got along, we've been good friends since.

That being said however, I wasn't a commoner but I might as well consider myself one now. Since I had a conflict with my family, I've been cut off from them and living on my own with my own ways of earning my money. I looked down at the sleeves of my uniform to only see them fraying and the stitches I had done to fix cuts in it were being undone. I sighed, slightly hoping that my asking Haruhi for assistance with it wasn't a nuisance.

The bell rung and I quickly head my way to the classroom, not wanting the class rep to call me out again and lecture me on how I wasn't representing the class well with tardiness.

Like usual, I was a minute little too late and sighed before plumping down in my seat, apologizing not only to the teacher but the class rep as well. While class went on I saw the usual calming sakura tree outside the window and smiled seeing how nice it was blooming.

"Are you sure this is alright Haru?" I asked Haruhi as we were standing outside of her club's room. I felt the softness of the school uniform present in my hands as she was handing it over to me. She just smiled and nodded.

"Of course. Tamaki-senpai was more than happy to give me another uniform. Granted he did try giving me the girl's uniform at first." She muttered to the side at the end, to which I giggled at.

"They didn't add it to your debt did they?" I asked, which she averted her eyes from me and I huffed out with a frown on my face. "Jeez.. well know I'll have your favorite snacks ready at my place when your done with club activities Haru-chan."

With that Haruhi nodded and we parted smiling at one another, and she went into the club once again. I stood there for a moment or two longer staring at the brand new set of the uniform. Compared to what I was wearing it looked as expensive as it was supposed to be, leaving the one I was wearing to look like some cheap knock off. The one I wore was almost two years old and it was starting to wear much faster then I had thought it would.

I heard a pair of feet coming down the hall, and I jumped slightly before turning my head to check who it was. I felt my breathe slightly catch seeing the grey eyes from the night before. Mori was now standing about five feet away from me with a sleeping Honey on his back. His face like usual held no obvious expression, and I felt mine start to burn. I looked from him then to the soft fabric in my arms, almost feeling guilty.

"Ah.. I hope you don't mind. I just had asked Haruhi for a favor! Mine's getting pretty worn out and I, well yeah um.." I thickly swallowed feeling like having gotten the uniform this way was wrong. When I looked back up at him though he didn't say anything, and seemed to barely even take in the uniform in my hold. After a few moments silence he took a couple steps more toward me and shrugged.

"It's fine." He said, more in a whisper tone than his usual monotone. I had guessed he did that cause of Honey's sleeping being. I nodded quickly, feeling a small relief.

"Well I, got to go. It was nice running into you Morinozuka-kun!" I said, stuffing the uniform into my bag and starting to walk off after giving a short bow. I had to get home and hurry the preparations of food for Haruhi.

I stopped in my tracks however when I heard Mori's deep hum. I turned slightly and saw him already staring at me. He shifted Honey on himself slightly before, once again in his whisper tone talked to me.

"Would you want to hangout this week?" He said, my nerves wavering hearing him talk more than our original meeting. Which was just yesterday as well, making my heart beat quicker knowing how much time even if it seemed so little, I had spent with him. I saw his brows perk up slightly in a questioning way, after I noticed I was taking too long to answer. Accidentally letting out a breathe I didn't know I had, I nodded as my voice wasn't keeping up with my thoughts.

"Yes!" I said a little louder than my normal tone which I winced at and lowered it and my head before answering again. "Yes, I'd like that."

We talked a little more as he told me his number as he couldn't input it himself and I promised to message him so he could save it. I smiled throughout the interaction, before we parted and said our goodbyes.

It was a very unlikely situation to be in with Mori, but at that moment I was very glad that I could be possibly grasping at a friendship with him. Although I felt I had a lot to get used to with his normal nature.
