Botanical Gardens, Arkham East,
After discovering Nightwing was on Arkham Island, Batman held his hand to the comms unit in his ear and got on the line with Barbara Gordon, who had been helping run the technological side of his operations since she got out of the hospital from Joker's attack over a year ago. "Oracle, I need you to see if you can activate the tracker implanted in Dick's suit." He requested.
"Alright, can I ask why?" She responded whilst bringing up the feed on the Batfamily's trackers. "Has he gotten himself into trouble?" Oracle spoke again before Bruce could respond. "Actually, nevermind, it's Dick, of course he's gotten himself into trouble." She clicked around a bit more on the Batcomputer. "There. Scans show he's in Arkham Mansion records room with Harley, and...oh no..." She began.
"What is it?" Bruce asked.
"His vitals aren't looking good," She explained. "you need to get over there now."
"On it." Bruce fired his grapnel gun at the roof and smashed through the glass ceiling of the Botanical Gardens.
Extreme Incarceration, Penitentiary, Arkham West,
Katana stood in cover behind the wall leading to the stairs to the control center of the room. Preparing to formulate a plan against Freeze, she unsheathed her blade. Examining it carefully, she could feel the weight of the hundreds of souls her sword had slain, not one of these souls was more significant than the first that her sword had taken, her husband. Then, she slid the weapon back into the sheath and headed into one of the air vents near her to gain an arial advantage on Freeze.
Once she was right above him, she gently moved the vent cover beneath her, and kept it within the vent. Seeing the right moment, she struck. She dropped down and jammed her sword within the systems on the back if Freeze's suit, causing it to shut down, at least temporarily. After landing this, she rolled away from Freeze. Realising he was down, she approached him once more and raised her sword. "Wait!" He called out. Katana paused. "I...I apologise for that. You saw what he did to me, so you can guess I want to help you stop him." Hearing this Katana sheathed her sword once more and helped Freeze to his feet. Suddenly, Floyd came bursting round the corner. Upon seeing Freeze, he fired off three shots. Reacting quickly, Katana pulled her sword out again and, in one fell swoop, cut through all three bullets, causing them to either fall at their feet or hit the wall behind them. Seeing that impressive move, Floyd stood speechless in amazement. Freeze turned to look at him, then to Katana. "A friend of yours?" He asked.
"ではない正確に" She replied. "A work associate."
Just outside Arkham Mansion, Arkham West,
Bruce was gunning for Arkham Mansion. As soon as he shot out of the Botanical Gardens he made a B-line straight for the bell tower so he could make his way in. He was annoyed at himself. He should have gotten in contact about Scarecrow's attack before he got here, but he couldn't dwell on this. At least not now. He had to remain focused on the task at hand, not how everything got to this point.
Quickly, Bruce reached the clock tower and smashed through the stained glass clock face at the top, then using his cape to slow his descent until he hit the bottom of the tower. Then, instead of wasting time crawling through the vents, he sprayed his explosive gel across the weak wooden flooring of the tower before grappling a few feet up and detonating the gel. "Oracle," he said into his earpiece. "give me an update, how's he doing?"
"Okay, let me have a look," She took a look at the information displayed on the screen. "he seems to be...well, fine. I don't understand."
"Something may still be wrong. Does Harley still have some gear from us we can track?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm looking at hers now and she's the same, recovering from whatever that was." Oracle explained. "It's got to be worth checking out."
"Of course, I'm on my way." Bruce responded before storming down the corridors of the Mansion.
Eventually, Bruce made it to the records room, only to see Dick and Harley stood outside of it, completely fine, and in the company of Slade Wilson and Digger Harkness. "Dick!" Bruce called out. "What the hell is going on?!" He asked vigorously.
"Br-Batman!?" Dick was so shocked he nearly gave away The Dark Knight's identity. "What are you doing here?"
"My job." Bruce replied coldly. "You're supposed to be in Blüdhaven, both of you, and I've got no idea what they're doing here." He pointed to Slade and Digger as he made that last point.
"First of all, Bats, I'm pretty sure we've established that you don't tell us where we can and can't go." Harley stepped up. "Second, we're on a job, Slade and Digger just happen to be on our team, alright?" She paused for a moment.
"What is it?" Bruce asked.
Dick looked over at Harley and knew what she was thinking. "Batman, you should know something." Dick's tone got a lot more serious. "We found Jason."
The Scarecrow's Hideout, Intensive Treatment, Arkham North,
Doctor Crane looked at some of the computer monitors on his desk. Various monitors displayed the camera feeds of some prisoners that Crane thought could prove useful in tonight's festivities. He looked over at the monitor furthest to his right. The Joker's Cell. He looked then down at the release button for the cell door. For a moment, he considered letting the clown out, before he ultimately dismissed the idea. Not yet.
