"Kate. Kate, wake up." I heard as I was being nuzzled by a friend.
"Sarah, I'm up. Gosh." I yawned and stretched as I looked outside the window. Wow. What a beauty.
"Welcome to Hershey Park everyone," My teacher spoke from the front of the bus. We all turned our head towards him.
"As you know, we come here every year. And every year, we split each other up into groups. You can go with whoever you like, as long as you stick together." He spoke.
"Of course we'd stick together. We know literally nobody else here." I told myself and heard some people laugh.
As we all hopped off the bus, we made our way towards the entrance. While everybody's talking, I'm listening to Matt Ox and checking Instagram.
Another blessing.

I read the caption and screamed with wide eyes.
Everyone looked at me.
Brenda came walking slowly towards me.
"Uh, you okay? You sound like you were being attacked." She chuckled. I looked at her with my mouth wide open and handed her my phone. I covered my mouth as her eyes widened. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Wow. Gotta hand it to you. Nobody else would have your odds." She winked as she handed my phone back to me.
My teacher then approached me and spoke. "You good?" He asked.
"Uh-huh. Never been better." I smiled as I walked through the metal detector.
I waited for my friends to finish their entry and waited for them so we could get the day started.
Once they were finished, they asked me what was wrong.
"Nothing. I'm fine." I said as I smiled lightheartedly.
"Alright, then." Spoke Amanda.
"Let's go to the bathroom first. I gotta pee." She skipped as we followed her into the bathroom.
"You guys go, I want some funnel cake." I smiled at them.
"We're supposed to stick together though," spoke my friend, Jordan.
"Yeah. Which is why I'm gonna get a funnel cake. It's literally right there." I said pointing to the funnel cake stand about 10 feet away.
"Oh. Right. Well, don't go elsewhere." She giggled going into the bathroom.
It's times like these that I wanna punch somebody. Always being obnoxious and thinking they're so smart. I just brush it off, though. I don't like violence, I've never fought anybody.
I sighed, putting in my right headphone and playing Overwhelming by Matt Ox. I put the volume up all the way, I could care less about ear damage. I walked over to the funnel cake line while looking down at my phone. I was in an intense game of 8-ball. I can be a bit competitive.
I was so focused on getting the ball in the right hole that I bumped into somebody.
"Ooh, my bad, I'm so sorry," I say without even looking back. I keep walking forward as slow as I was before.
I heard a voice chuckle. I kept walking, though.
"Wow. You have great taste in music." Somebody spoke.
"Thanks, I guess," I said, still not looking back. I just kept walking.
I walked for a couple more seconds and looked up to see if I was near the line. I put my phone in my back pocket and kept walking.
"So you're not interested in knowing who was talking to you before?" The person spoke.
"I'm sorry, but I highly doubt I'll know who you-" I look back and I'm lost for words.
He smiles at me and I finish my sentence.
"Are." I swallowed and stood there speechless.
