Arranged Marriage

Chapter 14

Chanyeol woke up sitting up on his bed only to fall back down. He didn't understand why he was so tired. He looks over at his phone and it reads, "7:23am" no wonder he felt so tired, he has over slept. Chanyeol has never been the type of person who over sleeps and he always wakes up at 6 am. He slowly sits back up and looks around the room. His eyes naturally landing on Kyungsoo's side of the room. Chanyeol notices that Kyungsoo is not there. He quickly gets up and dashes out the bedroom. He looks around for Kyungsoo and slows his pace down when he hears noise coming from the kitchen. Chanyeol slowly walks in the kitchen and notices Kyungsoo, he was putting food on two plates.

"Kyungsoo..." Chanyeol starts and Kyungsoo turns around, "what are you doing?"

"I'm making food and I'm done," Kyungsoo says plainly turning to Chanyeol and motioned him to sit.

"You made me food," Chanyeol questions as he takes a seat and Kyungsoo places the plate in front of him. Kyungsoo goes to the other side of the table and sits down.

"I wanted to make you food considering that I probably caused you a lot of trouble yesterday," Kyungsoo said trying to put emotion in his voice but failed. Kyungsoo looks back at his own food and starts to eat slowly. Chanyeol didn't say anything and looked at the food Kyungsoo made. He smiled to himself and ate the food eagerly.

"It wasn't any trouble, you are my fiancé," Chanyeol said. Kyungsoo stopped eating and stares at his food. Chanyeol looks at Kyungsoo and notices his mistake.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," Chanyeol said sincerely and Kyungsoo snaps out of it.

"There's no need to apologize, I am your fiancé," Kyungsoo said with a blank expression. Even though Kyungsoo was trying to hide the pain, Chanyeol could see through him. Chanyeol can see the pain in Kyungsoo's eyes. He felt a pang of guilt in his heart for bringing up the marriage. They continued to eat their food in silence. None of them daring to say a word.

'Dammit, why did I say that,' Chanyeol thinks to himself while shaking his head.

"Sorry," Kyungsoo said and Chanyeol was suddenly startled by the apology. Chanyeol looked at him confusedly. Kyungsoo got up from his seat and went to wash his plate.

"You should hurry and finish your food, we have school today," Kyungsoo said once he was done with his plate and left the kitchen. Chanyeol, who is still confused about why Kyungsoo apologized, quickly finished his food. Once he was done, he put the plate in the sink knowing that the maids would wash it later. Chanyeol speed walked to his shared room and saw Kyungsoo grabbing his school stuff. He stood there for a couple of seconds waiting to see if Kyungsoo would say anything but he didn't. Chanyeol quickly grabs cloths and goes to change, once he's done he goes back to his room.

"I'll take you to school," Chanyeol says as he sees Kyungsoo getting ready to leave. Kyungsoo was going to protest but he didn't have the energy to do so. He slightly nods and sits on his bed wait for Chanyeol to finish getting ready. Once Chanyeol was done, they headed to school. The ride to school was silent but it wasn't an uncomfortable silence, it was more of a calm silence. They made it to school and both boys knew it was going to be a long day.

"Kyungsoo my baby are you okay? He didn't say anything stupid, did he," Minseok asks as he ran towards Kyungsoo as soon as he saw him and Chanyeol glared at him.

"He's not your baby," Chanyeol whispered under his breath so no one heard what he said.

"Yeah how are you? Are you feeling okay? You know you don't have to be here if you don't want to," Yixing said as he just got there.

"No, I'm fine Minseok and Yixing hyung," Kyungsoo said trying to show them a smile but failed miserably. Minseok saw this and gave him a sad smile. Kyungsoo looked down angrily. He was angry because they were asking how he was and they were so worried about him but what about them. They knew him too, they were close friends with him too. Kyungsoo knows that they are hurting too but they think that they have to be strong for him.

"Stop," Kyungsoo said and they looked at him confused. Yixing was about to ask what he meant by that but Kyungsoo continued.

"Stop worrying about and stop acting like you didn't lose him. You guys can act like you your fine but I know you guys. I look into your eyes and I can see it, the pain you guys are hiding so stop. Stop trying to be strong for me because you guys have know one to be strong for you guys," Kyungsoo said as tears fell and the two older boys were also crying. The three friends and even Chanyeol knew that this was the first step of a long process called healing.

A/N: Sorry it took me so long to right this chapter I was having a huge writer's block. I was also enjoying my summer and traveling a lot but now I'm back in school and I'm back to writing this story. Thank you for your patience <3
