Dazai's POV
"Ah, how refreshing~" I yawn while cracking my knuckles. I leave Koyo alone in the resting room, now assured that she won't run, and walk over the office to inform everyone of her decision.
I run into Kirino in the hallway.
"Wow, not even a sound was heard, and I thought you'd lost your touch." Kirino smirks with her arms crossed, leaning against the wall, "I assume we're going through with the plan?"
I nod my head returning her smirk. One of the greatest attributes of our partnership are the strategies we manage to come up with. We had spoken for about five minutes earlier, and have generally laid out what's to come in the near future. With our predictions, we have big risks to take, but there's no other plausible choice honestly.
"Yeah, we have bigger things to prepare for, and we'll need Port Mafia for it. I'm sure just around now, Atsushi-kun is probably coming to the same conclusion. For now, we both have a common enemy." Dazai devises.
Both of our phones blare at the same time.
The caller ID read: Tanizaki.
"Hello?" I answer.
"Hikoku-san! This is an emergency! I need you to come down now to where Kunikida-san and I are! They... they... those...those little... ugh... they're after Naomi and Haruno-san!"
I accidentally yell into the phone in shock, "WHAT?!"
"Please... I'm begging you. Please hurry!" Tanizaki pleads, almost in tears before the sound of a click lets me know that he's hung up.
I turn to Dazai who also just finished his phone call, a grim expression on his face.
"It was the President. He ordered us and Atsushi-kun to wait at a train station and help Haruno-chan and Naomi-chan when they get to the rendezvous point" Dazai informs me.
I'm already halfway to the door when Atsushi rushes out of the office, a panicked expression his face.
"Da—" he begins to say, but we both cut him off.
"We know. Let's go."
The three of us make it to the train station where we are supposed to meet up with the two girls in record time. Now, we just have endure Dazai's singing for awhile...
It doesn't take long for me to get annoyed, "Shut up already!"
I slap the back of his head.
"Ow! Kiwino-chan I bwit mah tangue!" Dazai holds out his throbbing tongue in pain.
"Hmph, that's what you get for singing that song again." I retort, crossing my arms.
"But, don't you love me Kirino-chan?" he looks at me with puppy eyes, so I decide to tease him a bit.
"Hm... I don't know about that. Maybe I liked it better before... oh, but I've been seeing this guy at the bar lately, and he's not too bad looking." I say tauntingly.
At the mention of another man, Dazai's eyes darken a bit and he licks his lips seductively and his mouth forms a smirk, "We'll see about that when we get home later tonight."
His voice sends shivers throughout my body, but from fear or excitement; I'm not too sure anymore.
Suddenly I feel an unwanted presence nearby. Shooting Dazai a look, he makes an excuse for the both of us.
"Hey Atsushi-kun, wait here for Naomi-chan and Kirako-chan. Kirino and I are going to head to the bathroom." Dazai nonchalantly says; he's always been the better liar out of the both of us.
