"What? Why?" I was confused did I do something wrong.
She shook her head. "I want to go home." she repeated. I stood up and started pacing. "Uncle Ammy said that he was going to teach me how to color inside the lines." I stopped in my tracks.
"...Inside the lines." I whispered to myself relieved. I ran to Lu and picked her up and wrapped her in a bone crushing hug. "Oh God! I thought you were going to leave me." I whispered into her hair.
She giggled. "Why would you think that?" she asked sarcastically. I gasped and pulled back still holding her. "You planned that?" She nodded with a giggle.
"Lu-"
"Lu don't ever do that to me ever again. You almost gave me a hard attack." Lu cut me off doing a pretty good imitation of me. I was about to speak when I was cut off by someone clapping there hands.
"That was awesome," the voice said. I stiffened. Lu jumped down from my hold and looked behind me. I heard her gasp softly. I would too if I had the guts to turn around. "All you need to work on is making the voice more lighter yet deep, because we all know that Lincoln isn't the manliest person out there."
Lu smiled then giggle. I felt her walk closer to us. I still hadn't tuned around. Just hearing her voice made me feel a pang of hurt. She bent down in front of Lu. "What's your name sweetie?"
"Lu," she replied in a shy voice.
"Well that's a beautiful name." She whispered to Lu. "You know what's more beautiful?"
"What?"
"You."
Lu blushed, and looked down. She looked back at her then went to hide behind me.
She turned around to face me. "Lincoln." she whispered.
I looked at her for a long moment before I spoke.
"Jenna."
