Elizabeth had to admit; she found it heartbreaking. Watching as Castiel came to life when the gate began to dial, and how he dropped to the floor before it once more. Waiting intently as John and the others started to walk out of it. He looked past them all, looking so hopeful only to have it dashed as the gate zipped out of existence. John stopping next to him, the dragon quick to listen to him. "We think we know what happened, you ready to go on a hunt?" The way the dragon seemed to hold himself higher, wings lifting, was all the answer he needed. "Meet us up in the conference room; let's get a plan figured out."

It was maybe 15 minutes later, and everyone had gathered into the conference room. John was quickly explaining what they had found, and what all they knew. Castiel sitting just beside Elizabeth, a large whiteboard had been moved into the room to allow better and more accessible communication with the dragon. He had listened, curious but concerned he already had an idea himself but would wait to hear what John had to say. "So my plan is simple, two jumpers loaded up with men. Castiel can fly out in front of us and lead us right to where they are. From there we land and storm the place. Find Forrest, Tayla, and Dr. Beckett. Hit hard and get out." Elizabeth nodded, but it was Castiel who shook his head to John's idea.

"You have a better one?" Rodney, of course, quick to question, as Castiel turned and started to write. 'You say that they have what I assume is a Wraith ship on its way. If you were to take that many men and ships, you would be easily noticed by them before you have a chance to cloak if they are already there when we head back.' "With that many people, we could hold our own." The dragon once again shaking his head. 'it would broadcast your existence to those that survive within the ship. We also do not know how far they are from the gate. If anyone whereby it, that many ships would raise the alarm. We would lose any element of surprise we had, even with cloaked ships.' There was a silence as everyone read what was on the board, even John had to admit, the dragon had impressed him with his understanding of the situation. "He is right, it would also mean having to keep all the jumpers together, and that could be a pain if there are darts air born." Lorne chiming in, having to admit he did agree with the dragon.

"Okay, well what is your plan Cas? Let's compare." John said as the dragon quickly wiped the board clean before writing again. 'We use mythology to our advantage. Tayla said the reason it was unsafe for me to go is due to the people having legends about monsters and demons.' Elizabeth looking at the writing before speaking. "If you alone were to be seen, they might view it as a legend coming to life." The dragon nodded his head, then kept writing. 'We need only one jumper, that can follow me in the air cloaked. They will not know you are there and it would be best to keep it that way. I find where they are being held, and I can easily create some chaos to keep them all distracted from you while you all go in and get Forrest and the others out. Once you are all back in the jumper, I can shrink down again and get in with you. We head out without anyone noticing you all were there.' There was a silence, as everyone looked at the dragon who sat on his haunches, head tipped to the side slightly as he waited for their feedback. John looked around the room, before looking back to the dragon. "I have to admit, your plan is probably better than my hit, destroy, and run one. How many people would you think we need?" The dragon quickly writing, 'All of those who went this last time should work. If all goes right, we should not need anyone really.'

"How do we know you won't just try and bring the jumper down? One jumper you could probably pull from the sky. Not if there were two." Ronon quickly making his opinion known. John quickly glaring over at him. "As much as we all know you love a good kill everyone plan, you know well what happened last time you made it known you do not trust Castiel and Forrest." But the man just glared down the dragon. That looked at him with curious eyes, before writing again. 'Ronon, while I understand your mistrust I can assure you that we have no intention to betray or jeopardize the people of this city. We have nothing to gain from it.' The room staying silent as the two looked each other down. 'Forrest told you, that dragons are an excellent judge of character. How Dazar rode on your shoulders, and happily interacted with you. He showed you trust and judged you to be of good character. I trust my fallen brother's judgment on you. No matter how conflicted you may be regarding Forrest and me.'
