Waterfall

Chapter 1

"Phew, finally!" Jihyo said thankfully as she plopped on their dorm couch next to Chaeyoung.

They had just finished promoting Likey, their new song, and now they have a few days off as a reward for their hard work.

"Finally we get to have some rest." Mina said quietly to Chaeyoung who didn't hear her, so she felt awkward and quietly informed the two of them that she was going to go sleep.

That left only Jihyo and Chaeyoung in the living room, just chatting away. Nayeon, Momo and Sana still haven't come home yet, while all the other members were in their respective bedrooms.

Chaeyoung felt tired, and she was slowly dozing off. Just as she put her head on Jihyo's shoulder and closed her eyes, the door barges open, waking her up.

In came Nayeon, Momo and Sana, carrying bags full of what seemed to be beer and a bunch of snacks.

"Where is everybody?" Nayeon asked loudly, as if she did not see the two poor souls that have been rudely awakened seconds ago.

"Yea, where is everyone? We gotta get this party started!" Sana squealed, already hooking her phone to the speaker and putting it on shuffle.

"Yah, turn that down Sana, everyone is getting ready for bed." Jihyo informed the three reckless members.

Sana turned the volume down just a bit, but it was still pretty loud, which resulted in Jeongyeon, Dahyun and Tzuyu coming out of their rooms to see what's going on.

"What's going on?" Jeongyeon asked, her eyes widening in surprise when she saw the beverages.

She walked over to see what they've bought, Dahyun curiously following behind. Tzuyu quietly walked over to Chaeyoung, sitting down next to her, observing the situation.

"Well..." Nayeon started, pouring beer into glasses for everyone. "We worked really hard for the past few months, don't you think? So we thought, why not celebrathow well we've done with likey and the whole album, and just have fun, you know?" She stated as a matter of fact.

"Uh, do I have to remind you that four out of nine members never had alcohol before?" Jihyo tried to reason with Nayeon, but she wasn't having it.

"Well there's a first time for everything, eh?" Nayeon said, handing the cups to Chaeyoung and Tzuyu who eyed them carefully., meanwhile Dahyun's cup was half empty.

"This is good. Why have I waited so long to start drinking?" Dahyun asked no one in particular as she drank up some more.

"Dahyun-ah.." Momo whined, suddenly hugging her from behind. "Slow down there, you gotta leave some for others." She said, taking the glass from Dahyun's right hand, gently brushing their fingers against each other. She took a sip over the other one's shoulder, right next to her ear, making the younger shiver slightly. Momo gave Dahyun her glass back, continuing to hug her from behind, with her head on Dahyun's shoulder.

"Come on guys." Nayeon said, pushing the glasses closer to Chaeyoung and Tzuyu. "Drink up." She finished with way more enthusiasm than needed.

Chaeyoung took the first sip, while the youngest just watched her. Her face showed disgust, and she fought with her own self not to spit the drink back into the glass.

Tzuyu wondered how bad it actually is, so she tried on her own. She took the first the sip, and even though she didn't particularly like the drink she didn't completely hate it. Plus, she didn't want to look lame in front of the others, so she took three more rather big sips.

"Wooh! That's right Tzuyu-ah, you're good!" Nayeon praised happily.

"Nayeon, are you sure about this? What if something goes wrong?" Jihyo asked, still hesitant to the idea of them drinking.
