Chapter 48

Liam headed out to his car to drive home. Niall was asleep on the sofa as robin helped Louis bring some toys in. Robin and Louis happily played for around 15 minutes before the sound of keys in the door was heard and Liam walked in. "Papa." Louis squealed happily getting up and running to the man. "Hey Lou." Liam said picking him up and setting him on his hip. "Miss papa. Where daddy?" Louis asked and Liam sighed. "He's still at the hospital baby and he's going to there for a couple of days." Liam explained knowing Anne had already mentioned this to the boy and thankfully Louis just nodded before Liam put him down and he went back Into the lounge. Liam took his shoes and coat off before walking into the lounge seeing Niall sound asleep on the sofa and Robin playing with Louis.

"Hey Robin." Liam said as he sat down next to Niall and ran a hand through his hair. Liam could see the boy had dried tears on his face and knew there would probably be more in a minute. He thought it would be Louis who reacted like this not Niall but then again Niall did see harry last night. Niall slowly opened his eyes and when he saw Liam he instantly reached for the man who quickly picked him up and placed him on his lap. Niall hugged his papa and fell back to sleep. To tired to ask about his daddy.

Robin carried on playing with Louis. "I'm going to take this one upstairs to my room and have a nap with him, will you be Okay down here with Lou?" Liam asked and Robin nodded. "Course." Robin said with a smile as Liam picked Niall up carefully and headed upstairs.

Louis was too busy playing to take notice.

Liam picked a sleeping Niall up and carried him upstairs. When Liam got upstairs he lied Niall down before getting into the bed himself and Niall snuggled straight into Liam making Liam think he wasn't fully asleep. Liam just cuddled the boy a d stroked his hair comfortingly so he would go into a deep sleep. When Liam was sure Niall was deeply asleep he closed his own eyes quickly falling asleep himself. They both slept peacefully.

Louis and Robin were playing before Louis started to get tired. "Do you want a nap lou?" Robin asked seeing the boy rubbing his eyes. Louis nodded and climbed on the sofa next to Robin snuggling into his side. Louis soon fell asleep and Robin watched some TV on low as Louis slept.

The nurse came in and did some checks on harry. Harry stayed asleep as the nurse did her checks and changed the fluid bag.

Liam and Niall were still asleep. When Niall did wake he snuggled as close to Liam as he could which in turn woke Liam. "Hey you Okay?" Liam asked as Niall gripped onto his top. All Liam got back in response was a sniffle. Liam just cuddled the boy comfortingly. "Daddy is going to be ok" Liam said "Promise." Niall said extremely quietly. "I promise, have I ever I broke a promise before?" Liam asked and Niall shook his head looking up at Liam and Liam smiled at him before kissing his forehead. They cuddled for a bit longer before nialls tummy rumbled.

"Come on let's go downstairs and something to eat. "Don't want anything." Niall mumbled. "I bet you haven't eaten anything yet today have you?" Liam asked and Niall shook his head. "Come on I'll make you anything you want." Liam said getting out of bed and picking Niall up before carrying the boy downstairs who had rested his head on Liam's shoulder. Liam asked niall what he fancied. The boy shrugged so Liam decided to make sandwiches for the four of them. Hoping Lou would eat some that day to.

Once Liam had made the sandwiches he went to wake louis and Robin who had dozed off and the pair both headed into the kitchen. Louis was still half asleep but robin carried the boy in to the kitchen. "Here Lou I made you favourite." Liam said placing a cheese sandwich in front the boy. Louis looked at it before poking it and slowly picked it up nibbling at the corner. Yes he wasn't eating it very quickly but for the first time in a while he was eating without having to be asked more than once. Louis had five bites but that was an improvement.
