"But off in the distance there is a woman's voice.
It's very faint, I can't make out what it says,
but as we fight, and as we come closer to her,
I can hear her. She's telling me that she loves me.
She's telling me how proud she is of me.
Just like that, I wake up, and
I still see you"

"You're not falling asleep on me are you, Wyatt?" I felt Alexandria nudge me with her glittered fingers as her voice radiated into the depths of my skin as I realized I had been quite silent for the duration of the drive.
"No I am not, I am simply trying to decipher where it is we are going when we have to be at the arena soon." I allowed my eyes to roam over the scene outside of my window instead of the depths of her blue pools that brought the calmness to all the chaos in my world.
"I have to be since I'm opening up the show but not you, so let me worry about being late." She narrowed her beautiful blue eyes at me which I noticed in the corner of mine and gave a brief nod.
"So will I be knowing where we are?" I rested my head back and my eyes on her as she checked her phone to make sure we were on track before lowering it to ensure I could not see.
"Why do you have to know? We're in the countryside and basically road tripping, I would have loved some good conversation but I suppose my music was good company." She scoffed with a forced eye roll, wanting to dismiss my curiosity.
"Your music was not a symphony to my ears" I smiled realizing it had been turned down by her.
"Well you didn't object."
"I saw you smiling and nodding along I chose not to be the villain who took away that joy" I whispered which led to her eyes meeting mine before a smile formed on her lips.
"Mmm you do know you have made me yours, well almost, so you can fight me on things. I'm not going anywhere, I wasn't going anywhere before."
"I did not say you were" I cleared my throat and traced over her exposed thigh.
"I know I'm just saying, I like hostile Bray as much as my tamed teddy bear" She sighed with a small smile.
"Is that so? I do not really see the liking when you're raising your voice and punching into my chest."
"We always kiss and make-up, don't we?"
"That we do" I chuckled as that had been the entire essence of our relationship, the hostility before the calm of her lips placed on mine with the confusion filling the air. Although there was no confusion now, I had made sure of that as the black stone enveloped her finger, holding onto the wheel, steering me where I did not know but trusted would serve a great purpose.
