"The world does not have a voice of its own.
It can't tell you what it wants,
what it needs.
But it's yearning for something to pull
it in the right direction.
A savior, perhaps.

"You are letting your urges for a woman control you!"
I glared his way, fighting the urge to walk over and lay my hands on him which I had not shied from over the last few weeks.
"I am not!" I screamed out, filling the walls of our confinements with the anger I felt at being questioned by the one person I thought would never question any of my actions.
"Tell me, was that blow delivered to me to stop me from heading to Randy or because I said one wrong thing about her the week before that?" Luke stared at me and I grinded my teeth, not having expected an ambush in a room where peace roamed freely but with the hostility between us all, it should have been expected.
"What I do should not be questioned" I simply said, hoping to remind him that although out there he was rebelling. Between these walls we were brothers...
"When it causes you to turn your back on your family it does" He said confidently while I was not sure where this sudden aggression had come from.
He knew, he knew all too well what I saw in her. I did not have to say any words, before Randall he had watched my eyes find her and I knew he saw in them something that had been a miss for so long.
"So Randall is able to have his companion at home. You yours, who those letters need to be sent to, but I cannot have my own?" I moved towards him as he seemed to not want to leave me be.
"Is she yours because she is not claiming you is she?"
I clenched my first at my sides.
"Luke." I heard Randall who had been mute and I shook my head and chuckled with no sign of any amusement as there was no humour in any of it.
"Why are you stopping him? That is what you have been voicing too, that I am merely a distraction for her, a pawn in her amusement that she sees fit to use. You are questioning my actions because you see us interacting more and more each week. But let me make this clear to both of you. No one has a say in my relationship with Alexandria. I might not express how I feel by letters or declarations on these modern forms of showing one's affection but no one has a say"
"Not even you." Randy stated and I was about to move over to him but heard a knock on the door which was the last thing I needed when my brothers, who were up against each other decided to be against me.
I immediately opened it, "WHAT?"
I saw her eyes widen briefly and she should have known if I had known it was her that would not be my reaction.
