I twirled the black ring between my fingers as I sat on the bathroom floor, towel wrapped around me as I had gotten out of the shower fifteen minutes before.

The engagement ring? Bray had given it to Renee the night after I had given it to him. He knew I wouldn't accept it from him or perhaps feared I would never want it back. He shouldn't have feared that, he should have feared me just sinking back into him. Because if he didn't want me then he would be in trouble. Only, I knew he did.

The creep loved me unconditionally and even if apart of me wished he would make it easier to be upset? I couldn't. He was annoying that way, with his blue eyes that contained so many things. Things only I had the permission to see, to feel, to fall in love with...

"Lexi? Breakfast is here. Get your butt out of there, Pixie!" I heard Renee and held a slight smile to myself before changing into my outfit for the day.

I wasn't sure when Bray had left my side as at some point I had fallen asleep. He hadn't left immediately that I knew. As I had woken up surrounded by darkness, the warmth of being close to him had been there while his hums had filled my ear as he stroked my hair.

I tended to shut people out when things didn't go my way and I guess it was a way of testing to see who would care enough to stick around. Only Nia had in NXT but I liked to believe with Bray melting my heart I had more people who appreciated me. More people who I could count on if need be, Bray made me better and although he made me weak? He helped show me that not everyone deserved the cold wrath I gave.

"You look so cute." Renee smiled as I entered the main room, they had gone to the gym while I had just felt like doing some exercises in the room instead. I shrugged as I ran my fingertips over the black necklace Bray had gotten me shortly after my birthday.

"Its a ppv today, so the sweats I have been living in are not really ideal." I shrugged and sat down beside them, lifting a cup of coffee into my hands and as soon as I did I saw their eyes on it.
