I met you, not knowing what love was. But I never saw it as a sign, besides, we were just friends.

A summer dream, as what I thought it was. I just transferred from Daegu, and decided to move to Gwacheon with my family, and my three dogs, a parrot and two hamsters...I don't remember what happened to my cats though... My dad was busy in North Korea, so it was just me and Ma, alone in an apartment. She thought it would be best if we changed our lifestyles, Daegu was too stuffy anyway. In a large place like Gwacheon, my eyes were blessed with the most beautiful sceneries, I moved in quite quick, because on my first day there, I saw an Anime shop full of my favorite games. I loved everything about this deserted part of Korea, a simple lifestyle was what I longed for.

"Ma, what if the students there don't like me?" I asked as my Ma adjusted my tie. She looked at me dearly, her hooded eyes scared me then, because she worked full-time all day, I knew I had to work hard to get the family going. She held my head, then kissed my temple, it tickled, I laughed. "Be humble, and always smile." she gives me a big smile, but I keep my thoughts to myself. Gosh, she really needs the rest.

I stepped in the large school painted in white and green, I glanced over to my parents, and then I was off. I didn't know where I was, what I was doing there, but it seemed fun, to mess around the compound, although I was obviously late. The sun had risen so closely, I could touch it. The crimson blended into the sky, on days like this I would usually lay back and watch. And I did, tried to climb a tree to get a closer view. Feeling like this moment could last, unfortunately it didn't. As I enjoyed the rising colours on a branch, a creaking sound alerted me. I turned to the root of the sound, more like me. The branch snapped, and I could only take a short breath before my body is dropped to the ground.

THUMP! Everything around me was a flashing white for a split second, before I realize, it was just me on the ground. I got up, ignoring the slight pain on my butt. I dust off the dust, apologising continuously to whoever it was. A boy...oh boy.

He had bangs, sleek black hair that attracted me the most. He was different from the boys back home, he had a totally different vibe. But he was angry. And he was scary. His bullet-like eyes were filled with tears, he stood there, covered in powdery dust. We didn't talk, felt like a pang in my gut. "I'm sorry." I said again, bowing before he stomped off, wiping off the tears in his eyes. I saw him leave in silence, before I felt someone tap on my shoulder. I whirled around, surprised to see an older boy in a blazer, looking down on me. He has luscious lips, but he had a concerning look. "Hello, you must be the new transfer student. Welcome, what level are you in?" he asked me. Whatever he said didn't mean anything, he was perfect and tall and slim, how are the boys here so good looking? I gulped, afraid to answer. He held out a hand. "Take my hand, I'll bring you to the general office."

I expected more from this elder, though. He was too nice, apart from his other senior friends, he was the most good looking and the most caring as well. He reminded me of a mom. I was brought into the general office, where a woman in stiletto heels greeted me. She appeared to be stern, but then she talked more about the school and that made me feel better.

Once I got into the class, the boys and girls laughed. I didn't know why at first, but then I followed their eyes and looked down on my copper-tinted uniform. It seemed I was interrupting a scolding from the teacher. She was having her hands on her hips, her eyebrows furrowed. Out in the rows of children, the only one standing was a boy, who looked familiar.

"So, Taehyung, what do you do in your free time?" a girl asked me. I wasn't used to the way the students talked here, so I just took the longest time to answer back. Obviously the girls there were flirty, the one talking to me had her head on my table, staring at me non stop. I cleared my throat, then told them that I had to go. I quickly took my lunch box and ran.

The sun had stayed hanging in the teal sky as I walked down from my class. The canteen was packed, and I already caught a few bullies on the way to the toilet. I rested at the shelter, panting. In my lunch box was a note. 'Stay safe, honey. Love you, Ma' I loved Ma's handwriting, it was curvy and unique, no one I knew had the same handwriting as her. I kept it in the pocket of my shorts. I munched on my sandwich and watched the boys play football in the open field ahead. They were muscular, and their faces were beautifully carved to look like tigers. Handsome, pretty boys. What I wanted to be when I grow up. I drew in a long breath, swallowing my pride. Suddenly, I heard footsteps from behind.

"Hi." I greeted to the mysterious boy again. He didn't answer, just sat next to me, his Iron Man lunchbox the size of mine. "You like IronMan?" I took a closer look, but he hugged it close to his chest. He frowned cutely. I first thought he was mute, because he barely spoke. "Yes." his voice was thin like the wind. He gave a small grin. "Oh, that's nice. Are you younger than me?Why are you in my class?" I asked. The little boy chuckled under his breath. He put his lunchbox on the floor. "Wrong class." he said. "Oh, you were in the wrong class?" I laughed, I found it strangely humiliating for him to end up in the wrong class and get scolded from the teacher. He shook his head. "No." he said, holding back his laughter. "You were."
