chp 8: The city of Helmstrune

Kerrin's POV

Before we left for Helmstune the city of nightlife, where big events are held, and also where a dungeon was recently discovered.

I also just found out that our HQ is actually just in the city we are currently at,
So other members stayed behind and this time their were only a few of us travelling me, the twins,Tobias,Asher,collien, Maddie, Aldo and 4 more members i have yet to talk too...

We travelled quite far, during the trip I learned to get along with the other guild member who came with us and of course training with Tobias.

Which was unavoidable but i didnt let the thought of what happened back in the inn get to me since he was still acting the same.

Colline and Maddie also taught me how to cook and this time i didnt make anything explode thats a start at least.

Also ive been hanging out with the twins more often since..i dont know i enjoy their company really, you could say we trio became the best of friends.

Lastly Asher, well he is always busy trying to make sure everything in the camp was alright and secure, so i try to help him out too and spend time with him...  to be honest i just wanna be with him and i really dont know why.... he just makes me feel comfy? Safe? Ughhh ... really i cant  get my head around it..

We were close to the city but we decided to camp since it was almost dark and so me and the girls started to prepare dinner along with Barry who actually knows and enjoys cooking!

"I didnt know you cook Barry" i said as i chopped some onions.

"Well, our mom was usually sick so me and larry would try to cook something, unfortunately Larry couldnt cook well, so i was left with the cooking duty. To be honest i wasent a good cook either but I strived to create the best meal for them, so i never gave up and here i am today! .....uhh kerrin why are you crying?" 

"ITS THE ONIONS GOSH DARN IT!"

After we cooked, served and ate, Asher called our attentions

"Ok guys! Listen up! Lets talk about what we need to do in the city and what kind of dungeon we are gonna explore together with other guilds!
We need to grab some supplies, extra food, water, some repellent for those small pest in the dungeon to save our strengths for the stronger monsters lurking about. So all of you get some rest tonight ok? And thats all i have to say dismiss" 

Dungeons huh? Now that i think about it i have not asked what a dungeon is...  I see larry sitting down in one of the logs so i sat down next to him and said.

"Hey larry?"

"yes my princess?"

* SMACK*

"Oww my head!"

"Im not your princess!!"

"Well yea.. for now~ *winks*"

I just shook my head slightly and asked about the dungeon

"Oh the dungeon? Its a place full of monsters and sometimes a demon class monster makes it their home, in the end of a dungeon it usually has lots of treasures and troves and if lucky some cool weapons might be left by the creators of the dungeon!" Larry said with glee.

"Wait the dungeon was created?? By who? "

"Hmm...well they say its a person, a demon class at that. They have great unimaginable power and as you already know there are like 2 out of million which makes those people rare and super hard to find but yea thats what the people says anyways"
