Rin ran as fast as he could away from the train station. He cut through ally's, streets and paths. Running past men, women and children going through their day like normal.
He had asked a couple hobgoblins to go to the monetary and see what was going on and from what he got back he was in for a hell on earth oh wait sorry he was in for a Gehenna in Assiah.
As be ran he stopped when his eye caught something.
It was the park he, the old man and Yukio would go to.
A memory flashed in his head of him and Yukio making a snow man while Shiro would watch them and sometimes help Yukio.
Rin shook his head getting rid of the memory as he began running again going into the familiar neighborhood.
He soon made his way to the monetary seeing it up ahead but something felt different he soon sped up as he saw may coaltars and other demons flying in and out of the monetary.
He ran faster going inside the church, he called out to the monks "hey! What the Hell is going on?!" As he ran around searching for them.
"Over here..." He heard coming from the living area and he ran towards it seeing some of them standing around the book self and the others at the table flipping through some books.
"What's going on!?" Rin exclaimed as he ran to the table.
"Rin! You have to help us!" Izumi a man with spiky blond hairsaid as they all ran up to Rin. Rin looked confused how could he help them its not like they will listen to him.
He signed and nodded walking out of the room back to the demon swarmed church.
Shiro cast many protection spells around the monetary and those were the strongest spells he knew wouldn't it be that after he died the spells lost the power since the caster is now dead and the monks at the monetary didn't know the spells and how to re add them because those were only things the Paladin would now.
Rin had tried countless times to keep them out, and sometimes it did work, but other times the demons just never listened.
Rin felt rage surging through his body. This was Hus fathers church, this was the place he and Rin spent the most time here, just sitting in silence or talking.
Rin reached the center of the church looking at the demons of all kinds swarming the room. Rin was about to let it out but he stopped a memory sparking in his mind, the voice of Shiro soothing hum from one of his tantrums "Rin, if you are ever to get angry and feel the urge to explode, close you eyes and count to 10 for each number think of something that calms you, something that makes you feel happy."
This caused Rin to smile and he started counting in his mind.
1....cooking.
2....the church.
3....stories of mom.
4....taking part in church.
5....learning new things.
6....training.
7....running.
8....walks in the forest.
9....anime and manga.
10....Shiro.
Rin sighed and opened his eyes a calm look in his eyes as he looked at them demons.
"Excuse me may i have your attention" Rin said in a soft tone a casual look on his face.
The demons surprisingly stopped all shocked at Rin's time of voice.
They stilled stayed in their places but they stopped the chaos they were creating and looked at Rin.
Rin sighed and gave a kind smile "Thank you, now I would like to kindly ask each and everyone of you to please leave the monastery and never come back unless I ask you, or else, every last one of you will see the Satan in me and show its flaming head to-you all and you don't want the right? After all to be set if fire by the blue flames and burned for am unknown periods of time will be very painful so what do you say? Will you leave or will you stay?" Rin finished speaking the entire time a casual look on n his face and his smile, there was silence, until all the demons started rushing to the door in fear, so trapping over the other wanting to get away as fast as possible from Rin.
After they left Rin sighed and look to see the monks coming out looking at Rin with a proud smile.
"Rin! That was wonder full! I doubt they will be coming back anytime soon!"Nagatomo is a man with short, wavy brown hair and dark eyes. Wearing the typical cassock of a priest said with a wide smile.
Rin nods hugging all of them "I missed you guys, there is so much I have to tell you all, so much I have found out," they all nodded and Rin smiled but his head thrusted forward from receiving a large hint in the head.
Rin hissed looked back seeing Maruta, a heavyset man with close shaved black hair, with a prominent curl on his forehead. had hit him, "that's for being late!" He scolded Rin and uncharacteristically Rin stayed quiet, he had a small smile on his face as he thought to himself.
They care.
When he was done Rin started explain what had gone down and he watched how they became speechless at how he handled Mephisto, to enraged at Yukio and Suguro, Rin just smiled and sat his bag on the table showing them the bat as well as the books.
All the mocks couldn't control their smiles when they heard of the baby.
The common thought to all of them were.
He has changed, for the better, hes being himself, hes learning to control the flames, and above all, he is understanding that its not the pare t that defines who the child is, its the child who defines who they are
When Rin finished speaking he was hugged by the mocks and congratulated, Rin gave a smile that he would only ever give the people he cared for and that smile warmed the mocks heart.
Rin sat down at the table and all of them got to work teaching Rin as they have done before. Rin did have a lot to learn.
Because he did have a Demonology test in a few days
