"ELLIE KANE." The blonde assassin didn't have to glance up to recognise the familiar voice of Maria Hill. "Also known as the Enchantress." Ellie rolled her eyes before glancing at the dark-haired agent.

"Maria Hill, age 36. Born on April 4th, 1982. Former deputy director of S.H.E.I.L.D. Used to hold the title of commander." The Enchantress spoke through Ellie, eyes glowing green as she read out the information on Maria provided to her by Enchantress. "You joined Stark industries in the immediate aftermath of the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. to help protect yourself from prosecution. However, you still stay in touch with Phill Coulson and S.H.I.E.L.D, acting as an intermediary between the organisation and the Avengers as well as that, you -"

"Okay!" Maria cut her off, glaring at the witch that had her hands cuffed together. "That's enough." The Enchantress smirked wickedly before stepping back and allowing Ellie to regain control of her body. The smirk never left her face as Ellie followed Steve, finding a piece of comfort with America's hero.

"What's the word on Strucker?" Steve asked as the three walked off the aircraft, which she now knew was called a Quinjet. Ellie decided to stick close to Steve as she trusted him more than the others.

"NATO's got him," Maria answered, the three entering the building.

"The two enhanced?" Ellie perked up at this, knowing who Steve was referring to.

"Wanda and Pietro Maximoff." Maria handed Steve a square thing that showed a picture of the twins, which then moved into a video. "Twins. Orphaned at ten when a shell collapsed their apartment building." Ellie peeked over Steve's shoulder, the three of them turning around the corridor. "Sokovia's had a rough history. It's nowhere special, but it's on the way to everywhere special."

"Their abilities?" Steve asked, handing back the square thingy.

"He's got increased metabolism and improved thermal homeostasis. Her thing is neural electric interfacing, telekinesis, mental manipulation." Both Steve and Ellie looked at the older women with a confused look. Understanding her mistake, Maria rephrased her statement for Steve to understand. "He's fast, and she's weird," Ellie growled at Maria's description of Wanda, not liking how they were being talked about.

"Well, they're going to show up again," Steve said as he stepped into the lift with Ellie following, not even thinking twice. There was no way she was going to stay alone with Maira Hill.

"Agreed. The file says they volunteered for Strucker's experiments. It's nuts." Ellie's eyes flashed but didn't dare do anything to upset Steve.

"Right. What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them to protect their country?" Sarcasm laced his words, and Ellie couldn't help the grin that stretched across her face, her dimples showing as she looked at Maria smugly.

"We're not at war, Captain."

"They are." And with that, the doors of the lift closed. Ellie looked at the Captain of America with a calculating look before jutting out her bottom lip and pulling her puppy dog eyes. "What is it, kid?" Ellie stuck out her hands, the cuff chains dangling together as she shook her hands.

"Please." She begged, and as Steve stared into her eyes, he couldn't help but cave in.

"Fine. But promise you won't do anything rational." Ellie nodded and grinned when he took out a key and unlocked the cuffs, which fell to the floor. The blonde grinned, hugging Steve, who froze in surprise before a warm smile crawled its way upon his lips.

"Thank you." She muttered, and a protective feeling overcame Steve as he stared down at the genuine girl. He knew that she wasn't evil, all she wants is love, something she wasn't really given at the time but felt it in Strucker and Steve held respect for that, even if the man was evil.

"Your welcome. I'm trusting you, though." Ellie giggled and let go of the male before stepping out of the Lift, Steve following behind her.

"Steve. Ellie." Hearing the voice of the ex-hydra assassin, both said people turned around to see her walking with a small smile. Ellie flashed her a small smile as she came out. "Shall we get going?" Natasha questioned with her eyes directly on the female blonde, who rose a brow, glancing back at Steve, who nodded his head with a kind smile.

"Tony is holding a party, and Natasha offered to dress you up." Ellie nodded in understanding, a small smile tugging at her lips. "More like demanded." The blonde giggled when Natasha slapped Steve over the head, which didn't really do anything to hurt him.

"Come on. We'll leave Steve here." Ellie nodded, waving goodbye before following the redhead to a room which was most likely hers. "Check through the closet. You can borrow any dress you want."

"Dress?" She questioned, a pout forming on her lips. Natasha gave her a pointed look, daring her to disagree with her.

"Yes." Ellie let out a sigh, her bottom lip jutting out as she looked through the ex-assassin's closet, trying to find something she actually liked.

"Natasha!" She yelled for the redhead, who was in the bathroom changing into her outfit for the night. The redhead wore a white shirt which had a black triangle in the middle that followed into a black leather shirt. "Wow. You look gorgeous." Natasha smiled, thanking her.

"What's wrong?" She asked, walking towards the blonde.

"I can't find anything I like." She huffed, sitting on the bed with her arms folded. Natasha chuckled softly before going to her closet and looking for a dress that would look nice on Ellie.

"How about this one?" Natasha asked as she took a white dress off the rack. Looking at it, Ellie shrugged and just like that, the avenger grabbed the girls arm and pushed her into the bathroom, demanding her to put on the dress. Ellie sighed but listened to the older female and slipped on the white dress, making her way to full-length mirror, twirling around and actually nodding her head as she liked how she looked in the dress.

"I look good." She exclaimed, a wide grin on her smile which duplicated itself on Natasha's face.

"Let's put some makeup on you." Natasha stood up from the chair and sat Ellie down in her place before applying a nude coloured eyeshadow and black eyeliner. After that, she layered on some mascara and finished with her lips painted in the colour of nude pink. Once she was finished, Natasha clipped on a four-layer emerald necklace and handed Ellie a pair of silver heels that were about four inches tall.

"Thank you." Squealed Ellie as she gazed at herself in the mirror. She hugged the ex-hydra assassin. A warm smiled crawled its way onto Natasha's face as she realised that the teenager wasn't a threat.

All she needed was a bit of love.
