A MASSIVE SCREECHING SOUND WAS HEARD, the sound ringing throughout the room chasing everyone to cover their ears as their senses went overboard.

"Worthy..." A voice was heard, and Ellie turned to look at a ripped up robot, one fo Tony's robots. "No. How could you be worthy? You're all killers."

"Stark." Steve glanced at Tony, who looked just as cautious as him.

"JARVIS." He said, waiting for his 'imaginary friend' as Thor put it before.

"I'm sorry, I was asleep. Or..." The robot paused as if it was thinking. "I was in a dream?" Tony began to tap on his device, muttering some words under his breath. The robot continued, "There was a terrible noise...and I was tangled in... in...strings. I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy." Ellie rose a brow at this newfound information.

"You killed someone?" Steve questioned, his brow also raised as he stared at the half-broken robot. The whole group was tense, ready to take immediate action if this got into a fight.

"Wouldn't have been my first call." It said. "But, down in the real world, we're faced with ugly choices." Thor let out a growl, growing impatient by the second.

"Who sent you?" He questioned, roughly, his grip on the handle of his hammer was tight. Instead of saying anything, the robot played a record of a familiar voice.

"I see a suit of armour around the world."

"Ultron!" Bruce exclaimed, shocked by how his and his mate's creation survived and came to life.

"In the flesh." It started before looking down at its body. "Or, no, not yet. Not this...chrysalis. But I'm ready. I'm on a mission." Ultron said, its eye glowing blue.

"What mission?" Ellie asked, her hands clenched into a fist, nails digging into her skin and drawing a tiny bit of metallic red blood.

"Peace in our time." And just like that, the entire Iron Legion bots burst through the wall, breaking it into pieces as they lurched forward, attacking the team. Steve kicks the table into the bots but is flown back by the force of it.

Ellie reached for her guns and began shooting at any bot that came close to her. Seeing that Helen Cho, one of the doctors, was in trouble, Ellie ran to the other side of the room and jumped off the ground, kicking the robot against the floor, heel embedded in its face before taking her gun and shooting it twice in her chest.

"You okay?" Cho thanked her and Ellie just flashed her a smile before shooting at another bot. The robots kept repeating the same thing over and over again which was 'we are here to help'.

"Cap!" Hearing Hawkeye's voice, Ellie watched as Clint threw Steve's shield at him which he then threw into the last robot, silicone him apart.

"That was dramatic!" Ultron exclaimed, and Ellie scanned the room, seeing how tense everyone was, and her eyes flew to Thor, who clenched his fingers around his hammer's handle tightly. "I'm sorry, I know you mean well. You just didn't think it through. You want to protect the world, but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to...evolve?" The thing picked up one of the dismembered Iron Legions. "With these? These puppets? There's only one path to peace: The Avengers' extinction."

Thor couldn't contain his anger anymore and, all of a sudden, threw his hammer at Ultron, smashing the robot into a million pieces, its body destroyed.

"I had strings, but now I'm free. There are no strings on me, no strings on me." Ellie sighs, dropping her gun to the ground, the sound echoing.

"Okay, what the fuck just happened."
