After what had seemed like forever, he eventually found sleep the night he got the news and found more work to perform the next day to kill the time. All he could think about is the endless possibilities to which, it excited him so much. He felt as though he was a child receiving the long-awaited gift on a cold Christmas day.
With the time teasingly making its way to the night, he could eventually see the time to get ready. Showering per usual and dressing in his professional clothing. He wasn't one to wear suits that often, but for this occasion, it was necessary. With himself physically ready, but mentally still doubting the occurrences of everything, he made his way to his car, black, simple, to his own eyes. He had owned a classic. You could call him a collector of the sorts, but he would only collect the best, the one of a kinds. Maybe that's why he wanted to help the mentally ill, each unique in their own intriguing and beautiful way.
With his mind occupied in the endless pit of thoughts the whole ride, he could eventually find himself in the massive ward. The complex was all brick, quiet, and quite dead. He assumed he took a wrong turn, but soon following the narrow and windy road, he could eventually find the sign... "Sina Ward, the walls don't constrict, rather protect ~ Pixis 1967" he read to himself.. "Odd.." he spoke again. He didn't take too much thought about it, but all he could do was drive forward. He had previously read about the ward in research he had gone about yesterday. It was quite interesting as to what came up.
'Focus' he had thought to himself. He wants to make sure he remembers what he has to say and where he has to go. After showing ID and clearance, he made his way into the parking lot, pulling in as he parked his car in a visitors spot. Even now, as he looked about the lot, everything was empty. Suddenly looking about the place, he was startled by a yelling. He turned rather quickly, only to see an officer motioning him away. He looked at the man curiously yet confusedly. He had to ask "I have clearance, sir. Is there something wrong?" he stated at first but asked in knowing the mental ward changes like a woman's mind. No offense, however, he knew that from a previous relationship to which he doesn't want to speak of at the moment. Anything and everything could happen in the ward, good or bad, so maybe this was something that could explain why it was so empty, a drill possibly? An emergency?
Showing his badge to the officer from afar, he could only hope the bright flashlight in his face would at least give him some light to actually see the printed papers. With the tall officer making his way over to himself, he himself is tall, but this man was much taller. Even if it was by a smidge, he was still so much taller... He could now see how short people felt. He quickly refocused himself when the tall dirty blonde bellowed "Doctor Hange has cleared you to be here. I can see that. Parking is prohibited here." He spoke, only to then motion himself and his own car somewhere underground, "All doctors and guards are to park under the building and to be locked up. No cars are left about the premises in case a patient is to get out and try to escape." he stated, only to then realize the man before himself was sniffing..? This was all too odd. He let the officer be, not the type of person to act out or be rude, so he simply nodded and planned to go back to his car.
Before he could go back to his own car and thank him, he was stopped when the abnormally tall man walked next to him and held out his hand with a smooth "Miche. A pleasure. I wish our introduction wasn't so... forceful... to say the least" he spoke as though he was zen himself. So calming and smooth. He nodded back, only to respond as he firmly shook his hand "Erwin. A pleasure. I can understand it, sir, you were simply doing your job." He nodded, only to hear the dirty blonde respond with a simple scoff "Sir. Please. Call me by my name. I am sure that you are my age. I haven't earned my sir yet."
At first, he was somewhat confused by the sudden change of the man before him, but sooner then later he could see the kindness in his voice. It was his job to be an asshole. It was his job to watch and secure the ward. To a point, he respected it. He nodded with a faint chuckle, thanking him again as he took a final wave before he directed himself to the direction Miche directed himself into. Parked and now ready, he made his way out of his car, locking it, only to then see himself at the back door.
He didn't mind back entrances, but this one was quite odd. Not only was it very small and locked about a thousand and one times, but a sudden noise startled him yet again "Who are you here for?" the voice had asked, well, demanded, the tone seemed to be more demanding than anything. He sighed ever so faintly before eventually finding the button and answering "I am here to see Doctor Hange Zoe. I have papers of clearance if needed." He spoke, only to suddenly hear the door buzz open. Taking this as his calling to walk in, he was surprised to see a patient running the door. He looked to the ill a little confusedly before the ocean eyed man could speak in a deathly tone "never seen a man run a desk before?" He snarled, making his own self, somewhat, uncomfortable. What could he even say to that? He ran through all the responses before he was speaking honestly. "I have never seen a patient running the door before. I apologize for my glare." He spoke just as flatly as the brown haired male had, his ocean eyes reading his own before a sigh left the mans mouth, getting up and walking away.
The man he had seen had bags under his eyes, so dark and so embedded into his skin, he was concerned, but not surprised. He himself couldn't sleep that well, but at least he himself wasn't on any medications that man must have been on. He waited at the desk, unable to gain any clearance until he was buzzed in again but sooner then later a rather small female came to the desk. Her strawberry hair had rested gently against her shoulders, her bangs seemingly long as the rest of her hair remained up and out of the way. Before he could introduce himself again, he was stopped by her soothing voice. "Welcome to Ward Sina. I'm Petra. Hange hasn't stopped talking about you!" She said with the sweetest little giggle, only to then motion to the ocean eyed boy who watched her so closely. "Eren, could you please pass me the clipboard to your left?" She asked, the ocean eyed man now identified as Eren, nodding and giving it to her with such care, only for the ocean eyes to suddenly be locked back onto himself. He nodded and said thanks before he nodded to the short female with yet another thanks. Taking the papers and looking about them, he filled out what was necessary.
The questions had varied from where he was from to what his sexual status was like. He was surprised they didn't ask about his dick size. They asked everything that he could possibly imagine it was all too personal, but he knew it was necessary if he was to become apart of the ward. Somewhat unsure about the questions and as to why they'd ask, he knew this wouldn't slip out. Sina was known for their information being secured into their filing cabinets. It was the old school way, but it was the safest. With himself sitting in the supposed waiting area, he took some time to respond to each question, wanting to ensure everything was correct and nothing was rushed. Seated and focused, he could still feel the ocean eyed man's eyes on himself. It was very uncomfortable, but he didn't show it, to say the least.
With the papers eventually filled, he made his way back to the desk, placing the clipboard in her hands as the man stood with her yet again, waiting and watching. He said thanks to both of them before the ocean eyed man had chuckled so suddenly when he looked to the papers. Looking to him with a raised eyebrow, the man looked up with a devilish smirk, only for Petra, the shorter female, to shush him. Curious as to what he was chuckling about, he had to ask. "What is so funny? I know my sexual relations is pretty blank and pathetic but I never thought it was that bad.." Speaking this, he could see the man looking to the papers again, now laughing a little more before Petra gave him the clipboard and asked him to put the papers away. He nodded and left with a chuckle still there, only for herself to shake her head to dismiss his behavior. "I apologize for that, he is quite the joker. Don't worry about the information getting out, he stays up here and goes back to his room when needed." She nods ever so faintly in assurance, he himself left it at this. What else could he do? Those lion-like eyes would always have their eyes on himself, he wasn't able to ask about this patient since he was so eager to watch himself. It was as though he was waiting for himself to speak about him crudely to which he would then have to lash out at himself.
In leaving the short strawberry alone, he was eventually buzzed into the ward, allowed in with further clearance before he was to make it to the Doctor's office. He was surprised to see everything so clean and so quiet. When he says no one was out of their rooms or making noise, he could hear his own breaths leaving his nose, the faint gusts of wind startling him. He passed by many rooms, looking for the directed room that Petra had helped himself with, but he could eventually find it. Knocking on the door, he was allowed in as the door slowly creaked open...
