After heading home, changing, eating his food in a rush and making his way back, he made his way to the Doctor's office. Knocking on the door, he heard not a single peep. Shocked, he entered with warning before seeing the sign on the door as the light finally hit the lettering, 'closed'. He stood in shock, never thinking she would be the type to suddenly leave unannounced.
With nothing left to do as to checking up with the Doctor, he made his way to his spot. In making his way down, he had previously checked in, not seeing Eren again, before he trotted down the steps to his now official 'office'. Placing down his bag, he could see the patient eagerly awaiting for himself near the door. Going near the door, he knew it was protocol to have the patient move away, but he only assumed this was yet another test. Nodding to the patient as he greeted him, he opened the door with caution in wanting to make sure he wouldn't hit the patient before he made his way in.
At first, he thought about going out to the interviewing table he had seen close to the patient's bathroom but now decided something different. Sitting down, he saw the patient again, making his way into his lap, but now was the time he needed answers. Shaking his head as he responded back with a little 'matter' of his own, asking him to wait, he positioned him to sit on the opposite side of himself. With the patient sitting across from himself, the patient close to the bed while he sat close to the wall opposite of the side of the bed, he sat in silence for a moment as the patient simply stared confusedly at himself.
Nodding in assurance, he took this pause for the both of them to get a breather before beginning with his smooth, calmed voice per usual " It's good to see you again, 13, but I have some questions I need to be answered. These won't be shared other than to the two of us... I promise the recordings and cameras are off." He spoke as he motioned to the camera, the red flashing dot not flashing anymore but rather starring with a dead lens. With a confused nod from the patient, he began to ask the basics. First, it started with his age and where he was from, but never once did he ask for the patient's name, yet. In asking these questions, he could eventually find out he was about 17, from Japan and only here in America because he was transported here. He is so young. He couldn't really tell from the jacket and the mask, but it makes sense... to a point. He himself was just finishing his first year of college, so he wasn't that much older, but considering this, 13 was a minor compared to himself.
As he got the basic questions, from his favorite color to his most desired hobby, the time had come for himself to ask about his name. Without further basic questions, he asked simply what his name was. At first, he could see the patient go silent, then he saw his eyes. For a moment, he could have sworn he was dead. In working at the ward this was quite normal to see but this, he knew this was quite a risk since it was just the two of them with 13 clearly able to take himself down. Staying silent, he eventually saw his eyes calm down to the normally sharp grey eyes before he spoke back to himself "naze". Why? It was like Miche had asked his previous question in the lot, little emotion and quite a lot of bland taste being left in his own mouth. Add to the list to never touch his head and never ask for his name, even if his hair was incredibly soft, or his current name being an insufficient number.
Seeing this as a bad subject, he shook his head a little before answering. "A number is no suitable name. After all, you must have a better name than just a number..." He answered, seeing the raven look to himself up and down multiple times. Before he could even think of dismissing the question, he was interrupted by a rather abrupt tone "Levi, Levi Ackerman.." Shutting his mouth faster then he could let his words slip out, he noticed how the patient watched himself so closely. Was he expecting a reaction worse or better than the one he had given him? He stared back normally before answering after a few moments of the silence. "I like it. It suits you well, Levi Ackerman. But as promised, I will keep addressing you as 13.." With a promise previously made, as mentioned before, he knew this was crucial to mention if this trust was to continue. Getting a nod from the patient, they both resumed their conversation per normal.
