I pull up in my Jeep Wrangler with my horse trailer connected to it and park it outside the barn. "Ready to meet him?" the middle aged woman asks and I nod with a smile. She leads me in the back and shows me a beautiful chestnut horse.

I awe and walk over to him. "Hi!!" I pet his neck. "Charlie right?" I ask and she nods. I look at him and smile. "Charlie. You're so cute!" I kiss his head and he neighs, rubbing his head against me. "Ready to go home?" I smile.
I pay for him, get my bill of sale and trailer him up.
I pat his butt and get in my car, driving home.

It's been two weeks and I've been horse hunting since Landon encouraged me too. Only, he doesn't know I bought Charlie, it's my little secret aha.
I pull into his house, well... I'm living with him now, so our house?
On trust me, dad gave Landon and I a piece of his mind before I moved out.
I just... it feels right. I see Landon in my future, I see him and I telling each other vows.
I park my car and get Charlie out of the trailer. "Woah woah woah" Landon walks out of the house with his jaw dropped. "You got a fucking horse?!" he asks.
I nod with a smile. "Meet our baby! Charlie" I hug Charlie and he raises an eyebrow at me. "He's our baby, deal with it" I laugh and bring Charlie around the back pasture, releasing him.
Landon shakes his head. "You're the only damn person to bring home a damn horse" he says and I look at him. "Okay Rosalie would too"
I laugh and nod. Charlie walks up to me and grab some grass to give him since I did t buy treats yet. He eats the grass out of my hand, making me smile.
