It's been a week since Justin met his mom. Today he's supposed to go to Monique's house for a little while. "Hey Clover" Destin said plopping on my bed and grabbing Niya. "What lil dude" I said fixing my hair. "What you doing for your birthday" he asked. "Boy that's a whole month away" I shrugged. "I know. You want a party or a vacay" he asked. "Boy we already close to the beach what more do i need" I asked cleaning my supplies up. "Party it is then" he said. "Shouldn't you be worried about Justin going with Monique today" I asked sitting on the bed. "Nah he's not goin" he shrugged. "Why not" I asked quickly. "I guess you talked some sense into her. She wants to have lunch with you and Justin to get to know him" he said. I looked at him to see if it was a joke. "Are you serious" I asked standing up. "Dead ass" he said rolling his eyes. "When" I sighed. "2" he said. "Destin it's 12. Is he even ready" I asked walking to my dresser to find more clothes. "He's getting ready now" he said. "Are you coming with us" I asked looking at him. "Yea but it will be later" he said. I shook my head as I got ready. "Can you put her clothes on" I asked pointing to the outfit I laid out.
Once everyone was ready Destin helped me load up the car. I drove to Logan's and got the kids out. We waited until Monique walked in with Marcus and some man. "Hey did you get a table" she asked. "No I was waiting on you" I said. "Where is Destin" she asked. "Do you want to get a table or not" I asked. She walked up to the lady and got a table for 8. We followed the lady and sat down. "So what's up Justin" Monique asked. "Moe moe this is my little sister Loyalty. Loyalty that's my moe moe" Justin said. "Hi" Loyalty said. The waiter came to take our order and left. "Where is Destin" Monique asked. "So who is this with you" I asked motioning to the guy on his phone next to her. "He's my boy toy" she said wiggling her eyebrows and his head quickly shot up. He looked at her with a confused look but looked at his phone. "So you want to know about Justin" I asked rolling my eyes. "Girl don't roll your eyes. Where is Destin" she said waving her hand at me. "Why are you asking about MY man? His whereabouts are not your business" I asked mugging her. "Cause bitch he was my baby daddy first so I need to know where he is" she laughed getting loud. "You sound like a bitter hoe. Your a baby momma stay in a baby momma place. Take care of your kids. You are worried about the wrong thing" I said in the same tone. I swear she knew how to get under my skin and I was about to show her my ratchet side. "I would take care of my kids if you didn't have him out here calling you momma. But if I'm the hoe why didn't Destin get a dna test for my baby. I swear you girlfriend bitches have your fucking head in the clouds. Dumb hoes" she said and I could see people looking. I paused because I thought Destin said he got a dna test on Marcus. "Exactly shut that ass up" she yelled. "What's your point though. You obviously want what I got. You obviously want to be one of those girlfriend hoes. You brought a nigga here to make Destin jealous. You hate that your son that you couldn't raise is calling me momma because I stepped up. You hate that I have a happy fucking family. Stop being a hater and putting people down. Your dumb af and I feel sorry for Marcus. I swear some baby mommas just don't know their place. But I would be more than happy to put you in it" I said trying to hold in my anger. "Bitch" she yelled and flung the table off of everybody. She lunged at me and her "boy toy" grabbed her shirt making it rip. I pushed her making her hit her head on the wall beside me. I grabbed my babies and rushed them outside. "Justin buckle Lo in" I said as I clicked Niya in. "Hey. Where you going" Destin asked running up to us. "Go ask somebody else to show you the video" I said getting in my car. He ran inside and I pulled off. I stopped my McDonald's and got us some food with ice cream.
We went home and watched Moana while we ate. Niya fell asleep after her bottle then Lo fell asleep before Moana even went out to sea. So I was laying on the couch with Justin when Destin walked in. "Hey daddy" Justin said. "She has a concussion" he said sitting on the love seat. "That's cute" I said to Justin pointing at Moana. "What happened" Destin asked. I continued to ignore him. "What did you say to her" he asked. "Moana is so pretty" I said. "Clover stop acting like this" he semi yelled. I looked at him then rolled my eyes and looked at the tv. "Justin what happened man" Destin sighed. "You should check my phone. It's my only video" he said. "Justin you recorded me" Clover asked fake hurt making him. "I didn't know that was going to happen. I was just making a video" he laughed. I grabbed his phone from the table and found the video. "Should I beat your daddy up" I asked. "No he's sorry" Justin said. I watched Destin's face as he listened to the poorly recorded video. "I have to go to the bathroom" I said getting up when I noticed he was almost finished. I walked to the bathroom in the hall and just sat on the sink.
Destin knocked on the door but I didn't answer. He opened the door and walked in closing the door. "Why'd you lie" I asked. "I didn't lie to you" he said. "And you're still lying" I said. "No I'm not. I got a dna test on him when I took him the first day by myself" he said. "How does she know you got one for my baby" I asked. "I honestly have no idea" he said. "Its best if you keep her away from me" I said. "Yes ma'am" he said putting his hand on my hand. "Where did you go" I asked moving my hands. "Getting a surprise for you" he said grabbing my hand. "What is it" I asked. "Come on" he said smiling big. I got off of the counter and followed him upstairs. He opened the door and the bed was full of gifts. There were bags from different stores, panties, a bouquet of colorful flowers, three stacks of money, a card, some perfume, lotion, and boxes of shoes. I grabbed the card and opened it. In big writing it said "I'm sorry" with a heart. "This is sooo sweet baby" I said turning to him to see him recording. "That's not allllll girl" he said. "What else baby" I asked wrapping my arms around me. "Jason agreed to watch Niya. Rocky is getting Lo and my cousin is getting Justin. We are having a lot of fun tonight" he said wiggling his eyebrows. "Oooo really like what" I asked. "Maybe a movie, then dinner, I was thinking a massage for you, and then maybe we can get some dessert" he said as he kissed my neck. "Honey I'm home" Rocky yelled from the door making me push Destin away. "Damn man" Destin said. "Stay off my wife" Rocky said then walked away. Destin shook his head then posted his video while walking downstairs. I sat on the bed and I heard Niya cry. I sat there because I'm not the only one that can care for her. I pulled out my phone and scrolled on Facebook. I blame Rocky for making me a public figure. I saw the video ten times as I scrolled down so I decided to click on it. You could barely hear what I was saying but you could definitely hear Monique. People were commenting on how ratchet Monique is and about how she just popped up out of nowhere. Other people were commenting on how I let it get that far with my children sitting there. I logged out of social media and laid down. Before I know it I was knocked out.
