"Damn. Fuck. Shit. I fucked up" I yelled as I looked at the papers. I just got done throwing up and drinking some water so I was coming back to my normal self. I packed some clothes and some of Justin's clothes. I loaded up my car and left Clover a note. I drove to my auntie house and took Justin clothes in. "What you doing here youngin" she asked. "Justin might need to stay here for a minute" I said. "What did you do? Y'all was just happy at the hospital having baby girl" she asked. I told her the story and she shook her head at me. "You are a dumbass nephew" she said getting off the couch. I just hung my head. "You just lost the best thing that has every happened to you nephew. You should have thought about all the things that girl has been through. Even if it wasn't your baby you were still out of line for real. If you Calling that girl a hoe. Come on nephew that was stupid. You know you can't handle your liquor I don't even know you picked up a bottle" she said kinda laughing at that last part. I followed her to the kitchen. "So can you keep him" I asked. "Yea. When is he coming" she asked. "I don't know I'll text them when I leave" I said. "Where you going" she asked. "I'm going to a hotel for now" I told her. "Be safe nephew. Call your momma too" she said as I walked out.
I got back in my car and texted Rocky.

I didn't even bother texting Clover because I knew she was mad plus I left her that letter. I went to find me a hotel room but as I pulled up to the hotel room I changed my mind. I hoped on the road back home. I drove for hours and hours and it was 3 in the morning when I pulled up to my old house. I checked my mailbox which was full of mail and my porch was full of packages. I unlocked my door and walked in. I already knew my lights and water was cut off because I didn't pay the bills. I turned my flashlight on and looked at the mail. There was an envelope that looked like someone just put it in my box. I opened it and read it.

This is Monique, Justin's mom. I paused. I lied to Clover about Justin's mom. Well some of it was true but not all. She was really my high school girlfriend. I looked at my phone. It was the 14th. I set my alarm for 9 and got in my bed. I laid there thinking about everything that happened between me and Monique. I loved her but not as much as I loved Clover. Every time I tried to think about Monique Clover would pop up. When I finally closed my eyes my alarm went off. I sighed and got up. I went to the porch to roll up. I lit my blunt and thought about how this situation was about to go down. I saw an shiny all black charger whip into my driveway. Monique jumped out of the car without cutting it off and ran to me as I stood up. "Destin" she screamed then jumped in my arms. She let me go and looked at me. "I thought I'd never see you again. Where you been" she asked. "Florida" said hitting my blunt. "Seriously? I left Florida to come find you" she said. I nodded as I hit the blunt again. "You alright you look like you just lost your best friend" she asked looking in my eyes.
I felt my phone and it was a FaceTime from Clover. "That must be your girl. Your face just lit up" she said. Monique walked to her car. I answered to see Justin. "Daddy" he screamed. "What's up son" I said. "Where'd you go" he asked as Monique walked up with a little boy. "I had to get some more stuff from the house. I'll be back J" I said. "Mommy said she's mad at you and you're in the dog house" he said and Monique's face looked so hurt. It's crazy because Justin never calls Clover mom. "Yea I said some bad words but I'm going to make it up. Take care of your sisters for me" I said. "I'm the man of the house while you're gone" he asked. "Yea hold it down. I gotta go little one. Kiss Clover and your sisters for me" I said. "You can keep that" Clover yelled. "Dezie" Lo yelled then Justin hung up.
