Today is Saturday so I decided to go to the mall with my babies. I got Loyalty and Justin ready to go. "Destin we are going to the mall" I said as he laid in bed. "Have fun" he said rolling over. We drove to the mall listening to 21 savage. I got them out and Justin got really excited. We don't really go to the mall much since I work here. We walked in as I pushed Loyalty in the stroller. "Can we take turns going to a store" Justin asked. "Sounds like a plan. You go first" I said. "No ladies first" he said. "Okay Old Navy" I said walking to the store. As soon as I started looking Lo started crying. "What's wrong Lo" I asked. "Out" she said kicking her legs. I let her out and she ran to Justin. I picked out some shirts for everyone. We checked out and my manager walked up to us. "Clover is this the infamous Loyalty" she asked. "Yes that's Loyalty" I said. "So you must be Justin" she said poking Justin. He hid behind my leg. "Aw he's shy" she laughed. Then Loyalty hid behind Justin. "I see we have a copy cat" my coworker Angel laughed. "They are adorable" she said. "Thank you" I said as I followed them to the next store which of course was champs.
I followed them around the store until Lo started running away. "Lo come back" I said as I followed her. "You wanna go back in the stroller" I asked picking her up. "No" she said. "Well stay with Justin" I said putting her back down. "She's beautiful" someone said behind me. "Thanks" I said turning around to be faced with Rocky. "Can I tell you something" he asked stepping towards me. "What" I asked stepping back. "I had a son a long time ago and he died from cancer. When he died his mom couldn't take it so she killed herself. I have a cancer something in my genes. I didn't want any kids to come out and die because of me. That's why I killed them all. I was trying to save everyone the heartbreak" he said. I covered my mouth as I looked him. He was crying. "Loyalty looks just like Issac. He was 2 when he was diagnosed. He died a month later. I just thought you should know" he said wiping a tear and walking away.
"Justin pick something. We have to go" I said picking Lo up. "I don't want anything" he said. "You sure" I asked and he nodded. We walked out and went to the car. We drove to the house as I called to schedule Lo a doctors appointment. I let them in and went straight to my room. "Destin" I said. "Yes baby" he said walking out of the bathroom. "Rocky had a baby before" I asked. He sighed and sat on the bed. "Yea his name was Issac but he died" he said. "Yea I know that now" I said. "Rocky doesn't like to talk about it. He wouldn't even tell us how he died" he said. "We saw Rocky at the mall. He told me all about little Issac" I said. "Did he seem stable? What's today" he asked looking at his phone. "He cried" I said. "Today's the day Issac died" he said. I covered my mouth. "That's so sad" I said. "The crazy thing is he was born the same day as Loyalty" he said. I shook my head and picked up my phone.

I stared at my phone as Destin looked at me. "What did you do" he asked. "Shhh. I really dont know" I said.
Rocky😒🙅🏾♀️🖕🏾- you would let me see her? To Rocky 😒🙅🏾♀️🖕🏾- we are going to the park by the mall in an hour. You can meet us there. Rocky😒🙅🏾♀️🖕🏾- thank you. I will be there
"Clover" Destin said. "I'm going to let him play with Loyalty at the park" I said slowly. "I'm going" he said. "No" I said quickly and he looked at me crazy. "I think this is something I should do on my own" I said. He nodded and walked up to me. He kissed my forehead and looked me in my eyes. "Stay strong baby girl. It's all going to be alright in the end. I promise you that much" he said then walked away. I changed into my black overalls and red polo. I undid one strap and threw on my matching air Jordans. I fixed Lo's ponytail and changed her shoes. I grabbed her bag and her. "Where y'all going? I wanna go" Justin said. "We will be back baby" I said. "But I wanna go" he cried. "Justin" Destin yelled. He cried as he walked to the back. I put Lo in the car and drove to the park. I let Lo out and she looked at me. "Go ahead" I laughed and she took off running. I followed her as she walked around the park. She just kept talking in baby talk. "What are you talking about mommas" I asked as she went down the slide. I watched as Rocky walked up to us. "Hey" he said as he followed Lo back up the stairs. "Hey. I'm sorry for your loss" I said. He pulled out his phone and showed me his lock screen.

"He's cute" I said. "Thank you" he said. "Lo come here" I said as she jumped on the bridge. She ran to me and started laughing. "Look Lo it's Daddy" I said. "Hey" she said. "Hey baby. Can I have a hug" he asked. "Give him a hug Lo" I said and she ran into his arms. "Thank you baby girl. You want to go swing" he asked pointing to the swings. "Swing" she said and they walked to the swings. He put her in and I got behind her.
"So does this mean I can be in her life now" he asked making faces at Lo. "I mean yea we can work our way there" I said as I watched Lo giggle. "I was going to post that picture on Facebook today but I wanted to make sure it was alright with you" he said between faces. "Yea that's fine" I smiled a little worried. We pushed some more as he made faces. "I just want you to know I'm not doing this because of Issac. I'm doing this because I know your heart. I know you wouldn't just go around killing kids for no reason and that there was meaning behind the madness" I said. "Well Thank you" he said. Loyalty screamed laughing. "Can she have ice cream" he asked. "I guess so. Only a little though" I said. "Yay" he said taking her out of the swing.
We walked to the ice cream shop right next to the park. Rocky ordered two small vanilla ice creams. We ate as they played together. They took some selfies as I threw our trash away. We walked out as Rocky still took pictures.

We walked to the car and he put Lo in. "Bye bye" Lo said. "Bye baby" Rocky said and closed the door. "Thanks again" he said. "Hey I'm taking Lo to the doctor to get tested for safety precautions on Monday" I said. "Can I go" he asked. "Yea I'll text you" I said getting in. He nodded and watched us pull off.
