Her eyes fluttered open as she began to realize where she was. Russia lay next to her holding her close, they had fallen asleep in the make shift camp. Belarus smiles as she looked at her sleeping brother, a soft smile upon his face. She slowly pushed his arm off from around her and she sat up. Night had fallen already, which meant that she had slept all day. Slowly she stood up from the make shift cot that she had been laying on and walked over to the entrance of the tent. When she looked out she saw Russian soldiers resting and sitting on guard. Finland and Sweden must have taken their troops and some of the survivors back toward the planes, everyone had to evacuate now.
A gentle hand touched her shoulder and she turned to see Canada smiling at her. “Oh, hello Canada.” Belarus said returning his smile. Canada sighed, “I’m so sorry Belarus.” He told her his smile now fading. Belarus looked at him confused. “What is it Canada?” She asked now worried. “Your sister, Ukraine has been captured….. We just got word from our inside source.” He told her as he looked at the ground in defeat. Belarus’s eyes widened as she thought of her Big Sister being taken by China. “They said that she is being held in an abandon farm house somewhere near Finland’s boarder.” Canada informed her. “She has been waiting for Russia to wake up to help us decide what to do.” He added as Belarus looked down at the ground. “I’ll go and wake him if you want.” She offered not meeting Canada’s eyes. “That would be great!” He replied smiling once again. “Alright…… I’ll be back.” Belarus said then ran toward the tent her brother was laying in.
Looking around the tent she picked up the gun her brother had put down when he entered. “I know where he is.” Belarus mumbled to herself. There was only one place where they could be and Belarus knew it. After years of stalking her brother she had memorized every inch of his country and every abandon building that was in the large country. It would take the others a while to even begin to think that her sister was on the inside of the Russian boarder instead of being in Finland. There was an abandon farm house not too far away that Belarus was positive her sister was being held. With one last look at her beloved brother she smiled slightly. “I’ll protect you and Big Sister…… I won’t let China break us apart.” She whispered and kissed the top of her brother’s head and slipped out from the tent and snuck away from the rest of the group. All her life Belarus had been the little sister and she’d have to be protected; now it was her turn to protect her brother and her sister. They were the most important thing right now.
Russia slowly opened his eyes and sat up looking around the tent. Belarus was missing from beside him and a slight sliver of worry entered his heart. He stood up and made his way to the opening of the tent and walked out. His men all looked up at him the moment he appeared, some of them tensing up. Russia just ignored them and started to walk around, finding his beloved Belarus was the only thing he could think of doing. “Well are you sure she isn’t in camp?” He heard Canada’s soft and crackling voice say in a panic. “Oh no……. this isn’t good. Quick someone go and get Russia.” Canada said as his voice reached a tone of defeat. Russia turned the corner to see Canada covering his face with his hands and shaking his head. “I am here.” Russia said as his brow furrowed. “What is wrong?” Worry now consumed his once cold heart. Canada turned to him as fear consumed the country. “Ukraine……. Has been captured by China and……. I’m afraid that Belarus has gone off to find him on her own.” Canada informed him. Russia’s eyes grew wide with complete terror as the new information sunk into his mind. “We have to go and find her!” He shouted. “Where could she of gone? When did she leave?” Russia asked as the need to find both his sister’s grew. “Calm down Russia……. We don’t know where she went but the report said that China had taken Ukraine to a abandon farm house near Finland’s border. She has been missing for half an hour; we’ve been looking for her the whole time!” Canada said honestly. Russia was at a loss for words; both his sisters were gone now one captured and the other missing. “We have to find them.” He muttered as the shock of the situation finally set in. Canada nodded in agreement. “We will….. try not to worry.” Russia looked at Canada and let out a sigh. He would find them both, he had too.
