As ir uffled thourgh th blanket i reached over to place my arm around joker but he was't there. i open my eyes to find some candles lit he came over to mt bed side and took my shoulders and shook them i looked up at him and he said were leving were returning to the circus. i got up and undreesed and redressed. it like not even morning yet i yawned. i know but if u want to get there buy the end of today he said and he packed our stuff. just then i thougth and of course im going to have to carry that. he grabed our stuff and left the room i followed and when we left the inn we began walkng. i told him to mont me with the stuff and it would be faster. he said i should warm up first. so i changed into a cheta and began to run foward a bit then back. after i had warmed up joker mounted me and i began with stedy pase in the direction joker led me in. after a hafe an hour or so we were hafe way there i was kinda tired so i slowed down to a jogging pase. it was still dark out and all the woods looked the same to me. finaly joker took the maek shift reins i had in my mout and made me speed up he did't spicfy why though i was running preety fast then he took us of the path and into the woods. i ws running as fast i could iw as dogding the trees and branchs the wind felt good on my fur. it was tired but i liked the rush. then i herd a howl in the distance. he jerked the reins and made me go faster. i never knew i could go this fast but i did't know how long i would hold up. the wolves were aproching and i saw one running with me at my side trying to bite us i was suronded all by the back. they were chaseing after me like a triangle forumation. joker pulled the reins not careing if it hurt or not but it made me run faster soon as i saw the wolves. but the only problem was we were lost and theres a river proching with a 50 foot cliff aproching. we had made it around the trees the wolf cameing closer with the open space. i ran in the direction of teh cliff and told joker told hold on for his life. i gain the fastest speed i ever gained in this form. i could here the wind rushing past my ears. we were 100 ft form the cliff i built up all my speed and jumped with all my strength. soon as i jumped some of the wolfs jumped after us but feel to thire deaths. i was soring through the sir hafe way to the other side i realized i was't going to make it so jurked joker of flining him to the other side. i began to fall twords the water below. looked up to see joker looking down upon my falling body. bamm i hit a little ledge on the cliff wall. i had to climb it but i injured my hind leg from hiting solid rock but i was't going to give up i changed into a mountain lion and began looking for safe palces to climb. i place m paws slowly at a time. i had got a few steps above but the rocks were sliping beneth my paws. i had jumped up faster not caring were my footing was. i looked up to see joker looking down upon me. i smiled and climbed but with effort. i slowly made it up the cliff wall and soon as i set my front set of paws onto the ground the back to sliped joker grabed my paws and i began to pull my self up to the ground. i changed back to my human form and looked at my broken leg. i soon changed back to my cheeta form and told joker to mount me. he looked at me a if i was a ghost. i said come on i charged tword him and scooped him onto my body. he hugged my body and i began to jog till we found the circus. the sun was setting and when we arrived i feel over form the pain in my leg. i changed back and joker told people to get me help quick. he came over and stroked my face. people came back and placed me onto a blacket or to and took me back o joker's room and palcedme onto the bed. teh other first tire member came over and wished me well. joker and the other left. excpet beast who stayed and wited till eveyone left to say somthing. she came up to my bed and told me thank you for saving joker twice and straithinng thing out. that she would of did that if she had the couage and she left. when joker came back he had a bandage to wrap my leg in. he aproched my leg and wraped it. then left andtold me tog get rest and he would be back tonigth. i feel as sleep the rest of the day. then at nigth time joker came back to come to sleep he asked my why i save his life insted of leting us both fall and wh i countiued to walk with a broken leg. i looked over at him and lened i closer to him. and looked up at him and told him i would rather have one of us live then none and beside why would i let my love did and not me. i also walked it beacsue u were to metaly shocked to do anything and we would have got there faster i replied. i slowly nuddeged my head up aginst his chest and told him my leg would heal by tomorow any way and blew out the candle
