United States of AmericaDear Tim,
Sorry about how late this reply is. I had so little down time and the generals don't let you write during meal times. This was the first day I haven't been racing between conference rooms and the strategy center. I do have good news for you. If my newest plan goes without a hitch, we're all going home. Ammon will be no more if all goes according to plan. They even said they might make me a major! I can't believe it!
That's great about your book. I'm sure the kids will love it and there will be tons of books, not just a sequel. I'm sure you've finished even more since your last letter. I'll have to read it when I get back. My opinion matter just as much as a kid's right?
Have you met with Dr. Dodgson yet? Two of the generals I know have been to him and praise his methods. He better take good care of you, or he'll have an angry soldier to answer to. And believe me, he sure as hell won't want that. I know what you'd do for me Tim and it makes me love you even more. Fortunately, that won't have to happen because Ammon will no longer be a threat and your parents will be asked to leave all bigoted and ignorant remarks at the door. They can believe whatever they wish, as is their right as Americans and, more importantly, humans, but they may not bring it anywhere near you or our home.
I'm thinking they might have something to do with the spike in your heart troubles. They cause you more stress than anything else, including me being a couple hundred miles away in hostile territory. If you have to, stay with my parents. They'll be more than happy to help you. They have three empty rooms and no one to lavish with attention. If Dodgson knew about them, I can guarantee he would advise you to cut all communication with them. I'm no doctor but I advise it as well, at least until I get back. I know you can handle yourself but your heart didn't get that memo. Just do whatever you have to to stay healthy Tim. If that means a week in Hawaii, I'm sure our finances could handle that.
I love you and only want what's best for you. I will do everything I can to get back soon and given the current state of the war, that could be no more than a month.
J.J.
