United States of AmericaDear Tim,
At this point, I know it can't be a mailroom error. Sievert Jr. couldn't find the letter anywhere. Did you even send one? Hello?
I'm really worried about you but I'll be there soon anyway. September 9th is the day I'll be back in America, New York to be precise. Ammon's dead and the strategists (me and a few others) are going home finally. Let me know you saw this one. Letters are coming in faster now that the war's over and if you express mail it, it'll get here before the ninth.
When I get home, I want us to go out to dinner wherever you want. We have a multitude of reasons to celebrate. We can sleep in the next morning and waste the day with nothing at all but movies and closeness, like we did when we were dating and even more recently on particularly stormy days.
I love you Tim and want to hear from you. Please write back as soon as you get this.
J.J.
