the rest of the day went by in a blur. i closed my eyes in the nurses office and woke up in the passenger seat of my own car. the trees passing by looked like the were moving in slow motion and the radio sounded like i was under water. as i looked around to my surroundings, my head pounded behind my eyes. to make a long story short, i felt like shit. i groaned and threw my hand over my eyes to try to block out the light. just as i began to drift off again, i heard the voice of my best friend. "i'm not gonna say i told you so because you feel like shit, but instead i'm just gonna let you suffer your own consequences until we get home" after that, i knocked out like a light for the rest of the ride. the next time i woke up, i was laid in my own fluffy bed and the sun had gone down. although there was still a dull pounding behind my eyes, i still felt better than the first time i woke up. taking a deep breath, i and rolled to the side of my bed and saw my phone lighting up with text messages. i put my glasses on and began to read some that caught my eye. lottie✨🥰🧚🏽: hey boo🥺i heard what happened after 6th period, just wanna let you know i love you and i want you to get some rest and when you wake up come talk to me!! you've got so many people worried and we're doing a group facetime later (only if you want tho, but still come talk to me🥺🥺) 5:45pm lima bean🦋✨: hey pooh, i left a little while ago but i've been monitoring your BS through dex com, i left your mom a note for when she comes back from work! love you and text me 7:15pm my besties🤩🥳👯♀️: 356msgs unknown: hey, i didn't get the chance to say thank you for earlier and for introducing me to your friends..that was really nice❤️ unknown: oh! this is harry btw, i got your number from lottie, i hope you don't mind unknown: ok..i'll leave you alone now, thanks again!❤️ i squinted and adjusted my glasses to read the last texts again. well, i guess the tree boy was actually nice. i got up and ruffled my hair and wrapped myself in my blanket. i grabbed my phone and the mini Coke can that was sitting on my night stand, no doubt put there by liam, and headed to lottie's room.
