"I told myself I'd never let myself wear stuff like that ever again, Travis." Awsten's eyebrows hung stubbornly over his eyes as his arms crossed themselves over his chest. "You can't be fucking serious right now."

Travis and Awsten were standing in the living room of the small country house, across from each other and staring directly at one another. "Awsten, this is what you'll have to wear to be able to gain access to the house." He held out the clothing hangers, waiting for the blonde to take it. "C'mon, at least try it on."

Awsten rolled his eyes, yanking the hangers from Travis's fingertips and making his way to the bathroom. He had made a promise to himself that he'd never let himself wear things like that ever again, and he meant to keep it. But yet, there he was, peeling off his comfy t–shirt and jeans, ignoring the newly formed slits in his hips as he handled the new clothing delicately.

Slowly, the blonde boy pulled the baby pink sweater over his body, making sure the fabric didn't catch on his new purple and white necklace. He stared at himself in the mirror, immediately regretting agreeing to this entire situation. "I look absolutely ridiculous, Travis." Awsten yelled loudly, his eyes squinting together as tears formed freely in his ducts.

The blonde in his hair clashed proudly with the pink of his sweatshirt, and he didn't know how much more he could take. Awsten forced himself into the grid–patterned black skirt and threw himself outside, looking up at Travis with a mixture of sadness and anger building up inside of his chest.

"C'mon, you look good. Geoff told me you're used to wearing stuff like that." Travis pushed himself to his feet, approaching Awsten and smiling warmly in an attempt to cool down the situation.

Awsten stuck his tongue into his cheek, crossing his arms and looking out past Travis. "I haven't worn anything like this since Geoff was in the hospital. He just wants me to wear this because it's what he likes." His gaze fell as the memories of his boyfriend assaulted his mind once more, and he desperately craved Geoff's touch.

Travis's lips thinned into a straight line, his fingers reaching out to touch Awsten's shoulders gingerly. "I'm sorry Aws—" His fingers pulled away once he felt the younger boy flinch. "—it's just for a couple of nights, alright? You've just gotta look feminine enough to get by and then you've got Geoff back, alright?"

Just a couple of nights. A couple of nights where he would subject himself to the haunting memories of what he used to be. He used to be actually happy, but ever since Geoff's hospitalization and his father's acquittal, it seemed the happiness faded along with his femininity. "Alright, but only a couple of nights."

That night Awsten got very drunk. He seemingly poured his feelings into alcohol, which is something he almost never did. Usually, he'd turn to a more lighter substance, like marijuana or cigarettes. But for some reason tonight, Awsten wanted his senses numbed and his brain turned off.

"Aws—I think that's enough." Patty made his way to where Awsten was curled up in their hotel room, ripping the bottle from the blonde boy's hand.

Awsten whined, reaching for it much like a child would before sighing. "C'mon Patty, I'm just trying to let loose. Don't you wanna have a sip?"

Patty had never seen Awsten drunk, so the flirtatiousness that oozed from the other's mouth made his eyebrows knit together and his chest to rip open the memories. His eyes glanced down at the bottle before meeting Awsten's again, sighing as he took a seat next to the younger boy. "Only one, alright?"

The younger boy giggled softly, turning on the floor and laying his head inside of Patty's lap. He glanced up at him through thickened eyelashes, biting his lip and smiling almost wickedly. "Whatever you say, baby."
