Chapter 8//Girls Day
////Nashi's P.O.V////
Yesterday Sylvia and Rin taught me the basics of swimming for hours, after that, I'm very sore. Who knew swimming was that much work?
I decided to sleep in this morning, I suspected Rosemary of devising some plan to have the team work on our togetherness. We all knew we needed it badly if we wanted to go on tougher missions.
Once I get ready for the day I head out to the guild, and once I open the doors things were flying at me. I'm guessing Luna and Nova are fighting. Surprise surprise, my intuition was correct. I sneak past them, trying hard not to get hit.
I take a seat next to Rose, across from Storm. "Hey," I say, not knowing if they can hear me over the racket.
"Hey," Storm says, glancing over to the bar where Igneel is getting something to eat.
"We were going to train today," Rose announces, deeply sighing.
"Why aren't we doing that then?" I inquiry, playing with my hair in my fingers. I decided to leave it down for today but if we are training I can easily put it up, I always carry a hair tie.
Storm answers for her, "Rin caught a cold from being in the lake too long."
"He did? I thought you Fullbuster's were immune to the cold!" It sounds like I say it as a joke but I'm only half joking, Gray and Storm both nevr get cold, I had always assumed it was a family thing.
Sylvia glares at me, "Not Rin and me," she says. I have no idea what I did to her but it seems like she hates me for no reason, maybe even wants to kill me? And yesterday she was acting fine, teaching me how to swim. Mood swings?
I sigh and push my body weight onto the table as I lay my head in it. "So let's just train without Rin."
Sylvia flinches and stands up quickly. "We can't train without Rin!" she says defensively, as if I had just insulted her whole entire family. How are she and Storm related?!
I push myself up and look over to Storm. "Do you think we should just slack off because one person is sick?"
He gulps and glances at his sister, staying silent.
Rosemary claps her hands, "I know what we'll do!"
"What?" Sylvia and I saw in unison, and then she glares at me as if I meant to do it.
Rose smiles, "We'll have a girl's day! Storm can go do whatever and we'll hang out! It'll help us get to know each other better and beck friends, that can aid in our teamwork!"
"Why do I have to be excluded?" Storm asks, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Because then it wouldn't be a girls day," she says in a matter of fact tone. "Plus, you can use this time to work with Gray on ice make magic."
Storm opens his mouth as if he's about to say something then closes it.
"Then it's settled! We'll have a girls day!" Rose stands up and brushes her skirt off, I don't even think there's anything there but she still does it. "Sylvia," she looks at the blue haired girl, "do you have to change? Or can we go now?"
