chapter five

The king and queen quickly stand up. With their speed its just moments till they are in front of me. They stare at me with these ruby eyes that are memorizing and sniff my scent a bit. The king is named Maven Pacheco if I remember correctly. He was hated throughout the beginning of his ruling till he met the queen, whos name is Crystal, she was the one to subside all his hate and bring light to the kingdom. I began studying them as they study me. They had a hint on iron to their smell but everything else was just there natural normal scent. As they walk circles around me going the opposite direction from each other, they dont look old at all for ruling over 400 years.

Brian was close to me, I could feel his heat radiating off of him, I could even scene his muscles tighten every time he thought the queen and king would hurt me. If they were foolish enough to do so, id be dead but so would the alliance we have yet to form.

Before he could even finish his sentence queen crystal stands in front of me and pulls me into a hug. My whole body became tense, I didnt know what to do but before i could respond she pulls us apart, holding my shoulders smiling. Brian already had his hand on his sword but i nodded at him to put it away before something bad happens.

"Oh its so good to meet you, I'm so sorry what happened to you and that foolish Prince E-"

"Mother please do not overwhelm her. She just arrived, let her settle in first and we can all talk during lunch time."

"Alright alright but darling i cant help it, shes beautiful."

"Thank you. If you can excuse me, i would like to take my fiancee away"

Red flushed my cheeks but as quickly it came it was gone. I doubt the whole time they were both inspecting me they were looking at my beauty. Yet i cant blame them for inspecting the future bride of the prince of all vampires. Being his fiancee... as i thought of it my wolf slightly purrs.

A cough interrupted my conversation and I look at Enrique. He puts his hand out to lead me to hopefully to 2 different bed rooms. As I let him lead me i keep looking back to brian to make sure he won't hurt anyone. He kept glaring at anyone that even glances at me  and most of the vampires didnt like the look of their future queen being a werewolf. I couldn't blame them because im sure a lot of my people were like brian and rather fight then be allies. Suddenly i feel a blast of wind hit me and some females vampire is in front of me.

"So Enrique this is our future queen. This has got to be a joke."

" This is Isabel, no it is not a joke so i mind you to watch your next words."

"My gosh she even smells like a wet dog and is stinking up the castle"

In an instant Brian eyes turn black and has her against the wall growling in her face baring his teeth. Soon many vampires are around us ready to attack but Enrique holds his hand up and they all stop still hissing at brian and myself. Enrique looks at me and i already know what to do.

"Brian, let her go."

I didnt use my queen voice but even i was fighting not to rip her head off. Not that i wouldn't have minded. He growls at her once and lets go letting her cough of the ground. As he returns at my side i put my hand on his chest trying to relax his wolf. The female vampire quickly gets up after catching her breath but just as shes about to take a step I sence Enrique in front of me.
