"Why the hell would you think that you would lose me? I don't understand why you would leave me if you were afraid of losing me? If anything, that did make you lose me."
That was the last thing I said to Oliver before Emaline opened the closet door and roughly pulled me out with anger.
It's been a few days later and Ethan wouldn't stop teasing me about what happened yesterday. I kept telling him that me and Oliver didn't kiss... even if we did.
"The deadline for entry into this gets Science Fair is on Thursday. Personally, I intend to prove that the Big Bang is much more than just a theory"
"Are you 100% sure you and Oliver did not kiss?" Ethan wiggles his eyebrows at me.
"Yes, I'm 100% sure, Ethan." I roll my eyes.
"Hmm.. I don't believe it."
"Reminder: auditions for Boring High School's first ever movie, a sci-fi love story directed by Luke O'Neil, will be held today after school in the A/V room."
"Yeah! That's my best friend! Woo!" Ethan cheers loudly.
"Be sure to bring a monologue and break a leg, earthlings."
I'm pretty sure everyone in this classroom- no whole school, is annoyed by Ethan. I know I am.

"Okay Stella, it's just me. You can tell me, I know you. You're hiding something." Natalie says as we walk over to the a/v room. I'm not auditioning, but Natalie is.
I'm working with Kate with the costumes. I was forced.
"I'm not hiding anything?"
"Yes, you are. Your eyes shift every time you lie. Maybe Ethan and James don't notice that but I do."
I sigh. She grins. "I knew it. Okay, it's just me. What are you hiding?"
"Um, Uh."
"Hmm. You and Oliver kissed?"
"Uh,"
"I knew it! Did you guys talk about freshman year?"
"Um, kind of? I don't know." I sigh. We reach the line. "I'll, Uh, we'll talk about it later?" She nods and I enter the A/V room sitting next to Luke, Mcquaid on the other side of me.
"Okay, let's do this." I sigh and drop my bag on the floor.
"There's a lot of people out there," I say and lean back on the seat.
"That's good! All right, I think we're ready. Let's bring them in, McQuaid."
I look up to see Oliver walk in. Fuck.
I quickly look away.
He sighs and pushes McQuaid out of his seat. "Oh."
Oliver places his feet on the desk and opens a magazine.
"Um, what are you doing?" Luke asks.
Oliver takes the lollipop out of his mouth. "I don't audition. Neither does Emaline"
I scoff. "How is he supposed to cast you?"
"Which part has the most lines?" He asks and flips the page in his magazine.
"Blorg and Zarginda." Luke answers.
"Great," He slaps the table. "Bring 'em in, McQuaid."
The lights turn off and the first one to enter is Jessica.
