22: Realizations

"It will take you 2 years to file this divorce papers" said by a lawyer

"2 years!?" Yoongi exclaimed and glance at Jimin who's just looking down the floor

"But i can make it just a year, his spouse just need to sign these papers" the lawyer took some papers inside his bag and slide it towards Jimin and Yoongi

"You have a lot of reasons Mrs. Jeon"

Their meeting has ended and Jimin wasn't talking at all. Yoongi will ask if he's fine and he'll just nod

"You look so sad Jimin. Aren't you happy? Attorney said that he can make things happen just for a year" Yoongi wrapped his hand on Jimin's shoulder

"Do you think Jungkook will just sign those papers?"

That made Yoongi think.

"And Minsuk..." Jimin's eyes are watery.

"Jimin, you can do this" Yoongi traced Jimin's cheeks as he smile. His smile made Jimin motivated

"Yes, i can.."

"Are you sure about this Jimin?" Yoongi asked for the third time. He was thinking that a month isn't enough for Jimin to get over Jungkook

"Yes, I am really sure. Maybe i should see Jungkook too. So i could ask hin to sign these papers" Jimin smiled slightly

Yoongi nod as he started the engine and drive.

Jimin was sure that his feelings for Jungkook is now gone. He can't explain this excitement that he can feel at the moment. He's happy about the result. He can imagine himself infront of Jungkook smiling genuinely and finally can say that he's over him. Jimin waited for this day to come

He was about to text Jin to let him know that he's going home but something caught his eye

Jimin's heart skipped a beat. Today is Jungkook's birthday. Jimin can't believe he forgot about--wait, why? He's over with Jungkook he shouldn't know about this anymore. He's living his own life now, far from Jungkook.

"Is something wrong? You look so..pale" Yoongi glance over Jimin

"N-no, I'm fine. Just concentrate on driving" Jimin mumbled as he stared on the date that was displayed on his phone.

While driving, Jimin feels like the old Jimin was back. He was hesitating to tell Yoongi to go back...maybe he's not yet ready

After a hundred times of thinking. Jimin made his decision to tell Yoongi to go back to his house

"..." he was about to speak when Yoongi said "We're here"

"Are you ready?" Yoongi asked. Jimin pursed his lips as he looked down

Jimin's POV

I didn't talk for seconds. "Yoongi.."

"Is something wrong?" Yoongi asked. I slowly nod as i felt a tear escaped from my eye

"I-I think...I made the wrong--" I was interruped by a familliar voice outside the car

"Help! Cham'body! Help my daddy!" I looked where did the voice came from. It's dark so i can't see the road very clearly

But one thing caught my eye. Was that Namjoon-hyung---and Jungkook was on his back, unconcious.

I immediately pulled the handle of the door but it was locked

"Y-Yoong! P-please open the door" i can't speak clearly. I pulled the knob many times but Yoongi was staring at them.

"Y-yoongi! PLEASE OPEN THE CAR" i exclaimed. I can't just watch them getting away. Today's Jungkook's birthday and i think he was waiting for me to go back
