"NO!" Garrus screamed at Joker,
"We are not leaving Shepard!" His lungs forced themselves to draw oxygen as he lost more and more blood while he talked. "Garrus, look at Earth! We have to leave! I haven't been able to make any radio contact with Shepard! She's gone Garrus. We are leaving!" Garrus painfully gasped at Joker's loss of faith in Shepard and replied, "How many times has Shepard walked out of hell alive, Joker?!"
Forcing his words caused him to cough up more blood as the ship got hit once again.
"I'm leaving Garrus! I don't care what you say or how much you protest! We are going! EDI, get him to the Med-Bay..."
EDI then got up from her co-pilot seat and started dragging Garrus towards the back of the ship.
"JOKER! You son of a bitch! EDI, let go of me!!" Garrus tried to struggle and kick but the AI's new body was stronger than it looked and he quickly lost consciousness soon after his struggling, "I am sorry, Garrus." EDI said. She then carried the limp turian to the Med-Bay so that Doctor Chakwas could take care of him. "I'm sorry too, Garrus." Joker shamefully whispered to himself. Meanwhile, EDI had reached the Med-Bay.
"Mr. Moreau requested I took Garrus here for medical attention, Dr. Chakwas."
The woman was already at work on Tali's wounds from the battle, she quickly ordered EDI to set Garrus down on a table and grab a towel for his wounds.
"Also EDI, grab me more medi-gel from the cupboards by my desk! Hurry!"
"Yes, Doctor." EDI replied.
When EDI got the medi-gel and handed it over to the doctor at work, Chakwas hastily headed over to Garrus and rubbed the gel on his wounds. "He's lost so much blood... EDI! Rub more medi-gel on Tali's wounds as well. Try to keep her body as sterile as possible! Her suit suffered major punctures and is being repaired at the moment. It should be done soon, so when the machines are done fixing it, dress her immediately!"
"Very well, Dr. Chakwas." EDI quickly worked on the bare quarian. While the doctor stripped the armor off of Garrus's clothes and put pressure on his wounds to make the bleeding stop. Garrus fluttered his eyelids slightly open to see the doctor over him, pressing on his abdomen painfully. His mandibles started twitching with the pain as a low growl curdled in the back of his throat.
"He's waking up... EDI! Hand me a sedative! Quickly!" EDI emerged into his blurry site and handed Dr. Chakwas a very sharp syringe. She injected it into his scaly arm, causing Garrus to slowly drift unconscious again. An hour passed and soon enough the whole ship was shoved one way and the other. Garrus and Tali were awoken by the sudden crashing, which made Tali fall off her table. Garrus quickly went over to her and helped her up.
"Tali! Are you alright?" The quarian shook her head slowly and said "I... I'm fine, Garrus. Thank you..." Tali brushed herself off, then quickly realized that the ship wasn't running.
"Garrus... oh, Keelah!" The quarian quickly ran as fast as she possibly could out of the Med-Bay.
"TALI! Dammit!" Garrus was still injured and had a cast on his right foot. He limped slowly towards the elevator that Tali ran into. As he made his way there he noticed so much destruction in the Mess Hall. Very few crewman started dragging themselves and each other out of the debris while others lie limp underneath the rubble of the ship. Garrus made his way up to the elevator and started to go up to the Bridge.
Damn, we left Shepard!
He almost completely forgot about his original concern, his mate. "Can this thing go any faster!?" He angrily banged on the doors of the heavy elevator, stopping it for a moment, but then it continued to go up.
