The Alpha's NOT Sick Mate

Chapter Two: Alpha Gabriel

Sienna's POV

As soon as I step into the room I am almost knocked over by the amount of power coming off of the Alpha. "So you're Alpha James' daughter. Hm, thought you would have been a bit more, oh I don't know, 'Alpha'?" I can hear the arrogance pouring from his voice, I roll my eyes and make eye contact with him.

As soon as our eyes lock it was like I was in a whole different universe, like it was just me and his and nothing in between. I could read his emotions so clearly it was like they were a gateway to his thoughts and feelings, and I never wanted to look away. Happiness, relief, fear, panic, and most of all pure passion to make sure no harm will ever come, all of those emotions running through him at the same time.

Finally, we were coming back to reality and Finley burst through the door with Hades in toe. His eyes snap to them but mine stay glued to him. How can I be mated to him, how can I be mated at all? I just stand there staring at him like an idiot until he notices I'm literally burning holes into him with my eyes. I turn towards Finley and he gives me a quick confused look before dismissing it and coming towards me, a menacing growl ripples through the room. "Don't touch her," Alpha Gabriel threatens. Finley glares back before continuing to walk towards me.

Next thing I know Finley is thrown again the wall and Hades jumps in front of me, all while I'm stupidly just standing there. "I. Said. Don't. Touch. Her." There was pure fire and anger burning in Alpha Gabriel's eyes but Finley just looked right back at him with pure determination and fight in his. "I have seen monsters much scarier than you Alpha and none have them have kept me from protecting her before." right after he says that, Finley breaks out of the Alpha's hold and looks me over for injuries. I see relief flash through his eyes before the mask was back up. He briskly walks towards me again and goes to pick me up but Alpha Gabriel beats him to it. 

Before I know it, I'm being carried out of the room and Finley and Hades are running behind us, trying to catch up. I finally snap out of it and look up at him, "Put me down!" I demand as we bolt down the hall. Apparently when I spoke it distracted him and slowed him down enough for Finley to catch up. Finley tackled him causing him to crush me against his body and curl into a ball, on the way down I fell out of his embrace and hit the floor and then the wall.

I sit myself up and grip my ribs before looking over and see them fighting, Alpha Gabriel had Finley pinned on the floor, ready to snap his neck and take his heart out at the same time but then Finley flipped them over and shifted. He went to go lung towards the Alpha, "Fucking stop!" I yell before groaning at the pain in my ribs. They both freeze and their eyes snap towards me. Alpha Gabriel reaches me first but I push him away. I hear running feet and see Dr. McLaren, the twins, the nurse and the other doctor from earlier all rushing towards us. They all skid to a stop and the three medically trained people come towards me to assess my state.

Dr. McLaren moves my arm to take a look at my ribs and winces, "Well dear it looks like your ribs are bruised and your probably have a concussion. Nurse, can you get me a wheelchair, Lee Ann I want a full body scan and x-rays on her ribs." They nod and she looks towards Alpha Gabriel and Finley, who are silently giving each other the death glare. "You two are to stay away from each other." She points to Finley, "You are gonna stay outside of the room at all times while Alpha Gabriel is in there." She points at the Alpha, "And you aren't allowed to touch her or be within a five-foot radius of her until you have her permission. Look at her, she's terrified, in pain and on top of that she's in an unfamiliar place where she's basically being held hostage so if you're planning on keeping your mate I would give her space and talk about this." They both look at her shocked.

When the nurse came back with the wheelchair the doctors carefully help me up and into it before rolling me off for tests.

When they were all done with tests they found out that I didn't have a concussion but 2 of my ribs were cracked. Alpha Gabriel stormed off after everything and Finley just silently shadowed while they checked me out. I found out that the crazy, rude nurse had shot Hades with a tranquiler and had him carried to my new room since the old once was kinda ruined after everything that had happened. They finally took me back so that my ribs could be wrapped and I could get pain medicine and an IV put in because my blood sugar was extremely low again.

After I finally get settled in my room and the doctors leave Finley shows up. "Is he your mate?" I sigh and nod, I am so tired. "So what are you gonna do?" I shrug, "What are you going to tell your dad?" Again, I shrug. He took the hint that I was exhausted and stopped talking while I slipped into a peaceful sleep, This day a been way too long.

I wake up to Hades' head rubbing against my arm. I peel my eyes open and see Finley asleep on the chair next to my bed and Hades on the floor between us. I reach over to grab my phone and as soon as my hand land on it a call comes through. "Hello?" I answer. "Hey baby girl, how are you feeling?" I hear my mom's voice come through the phone and my whole body relaxes. "I'm good mom, I should be home soon," I say with a smile. "I know sweetie, your dad is working with Alpha Gabriel as we speak. I heard him and Fin got into it because he's your mate," I could hear the motherly one in her voice. "Yeah," I  trail off. "Well, have you talked to him?" I sigh, "No, the only thing I've done so far and stared at him like an idiot and yelled at him." I hear her laugh a little, "Well that sounds interesting." I laugh.

"Did dad ever find out how those rouges got into the territory?" This time it's her turn to sigh, "Not yet, but he did put a new team of together for you and doubled the amount of warriors on each post." Dr. McLaren and Alpha Gabriel both walk in, waking up Finley and startling Hades which causes him to jump up on the bed and lay protectively over me. "Okay well mom, the doctor just walked in, can I call you later?"

"Of course you can, bye sweetie love you," I hear her say before she hangs up. "Okay so, I need him to go outside," Dr. McLaren says referring to Finley but he doesn't budge. She raises an eyebrow and he sighs before standing up. he walks to the door but pauses, "This door, stays open." Dr. McLaren nods and he continues out the door. With a sigh the doctor starts, "Okay so I'm here to give you more medicine for you pain and to take your blood pressure but he is here to talk to you so that means I'm also here to supervise because he clearly can't speak to you without doing something completely fucking stupid."
