Chapter Five: Late Night Thunder Storms and Tea Chats

Sienna's POV

After dinner, Kian takes Alpha Gabriel and his guards to the guest house to get settled and one of the help gets my two new guards into their new rooms since my dad think that if they are going to protect me then they should be a part of the family and not ever be too far, even to go to their own home which is ridiculous. But since that was how I got so close to Finley hopefully it won't be too bad. After everyone is all settled in, Angel and Kiran are in their rooms, Finley and my whole family are all sitting in the living room and Hades is at my feet. We decide to watch a movie and much to everyone despise, Maia demanded that we watch Moana. About half-way through the movie, Maia is asleep on Kian, Wilson is asleep next to them and the rest of us are on our phones. I look up and make eye contact with Finley, He flicks his eyes towards the stairs and I nod. I yawn, "I'm getting a little sleepy, I think I'm going to head up to bed." My mom looks at me as I stand, "Okay sweetie, sweet dreams." I go over to her and give both her and my dad a kiss on the cheek before heading upstairs with Finley and Hades right behind me.

By the time I make it to my room I had Kyle, Kian, Lydia and Joshua are all on their way in the door too. After everyone gets comfy we sit in awkward silence for a few moments. "So," Lydia starts, "Are you really gonna leave us?" I look up, "I really don't know yet sissy, I've barely even talked to him. I mean, yeah eventually I'll probably go to his pack after I get to know him a bit because he is my mate." She nods, "Do you think dad would let me come with you?" She asks meekly. "I haven't found my mate here and I'm 20 now. I've made eye contact with everyone in this pack, Maybe he's in another pack." I shrug and Kyle groans while dramatically throwing himself back into my bed. "So now I'm going to lose two out of the 3 sisters I have! What's next, Wilson is leaving too?" I lean down and give him a hug, "I'm sorry Bubby." He shakes his head, "It's not your fault Si." I sigh and cuddle up next to him.

I look around the room and see Lydia sitting the end of the bed with one leg dangling off, Finley on the sofa at the end of my bed again, Kian and Joshua sitting on the floor on the side of the bed and Hades laying next the Joshua with his head in his lap. We talked about everything and nothing for the rest of the night until eventually everyone went back to their room and went to sleep.

I wake up in a startle to a big crash of thunder, I quickly pull the covers over my body and lay there in fright. Ever since I was a little girl I have been deathly afraid of thunder storms and they always send me into panic, I have no idea why but they just do. Usually I crawl into bed with one of my siblings or Finley but for some reason this time I can't move. I continue to lay frozen for about 15 minutes before my room slowly creaks open. My eyes quickly dart to the door and my breath hitches. When the door finally opens all the way I realize that it was Alpha Gabriel, "Are you alright? I can feel your panic," He says with his eyebrows raised in concern. I shake my head slowly side to side. He cautiously walk to me and sits on the edge of the bed. "Is it the storm? I've never really liked them either. When I was younger and I would wake up to thunder, my mom would always make me tea and talk to me until I forgot that it was storming, then I would eventually go back to sleep," He recalls with love and recognition in his eyes.

He hold out his hand, "Want some tea?" I look at his extended hand for a moment before slowly resting my hand in his. I could feel little tingles as soon as my skin touched his, it was comforting. We quietly walked downstairs and into the kitchen, he sat me down and started boiling water. He sits across the island and looks at me with hidden emotions, I peek up at him for under my hair and for just a moment, everything was peaceful. The pot started squealing, breaking us both out of the trance we were in and he quickly got up and turned off the burner. He looked in a few cupboards before finding the mugs and got two out. He poured the hot water into both cups and put a tea bag in each, "Honey and sugar?" I nod and proceeds to find both. After he mixes then he brings me one and sits back down. I take a sip and let out a quiet moan, it was the perfect mix of sugar, honey and lemon, he must have put just a few drops in.

I hear him sharply inhale and I look up, His eyes grow dark with lust and his grip on his mug tightens. I look at him with wide eyes while blushing and look down. I hear him clear his throat before speaking, "So what's your hobbies?" I give him a small smile, "Oh you know, the usual things like, dragon slaying, wizard killing, unicorn finding, sleeping, eating, and horseback riding." He looks at me surprised, I laugh. "I'm kidding! I like to read and travel, I've been to quite a few places actually. About two months ago I went to Beijing and it was a pretty great trip." He now looks at me with relief and a little hidden amusement. "So you like horses?" I light up, "I love them! I have a tan and white palomino that I just got from my brother. Apparently she reminded him of me but I haven't named her yet. If you want we can go to the  stables tomorrow?" I look around, nervous about his answer. He lit up, "I'd like that." The smile on his face brightened up the whole room.
