Jareth stomps to the large library, Paige in hand as he slams the door. Paige winces slightly from his grip, a small uncomfortable grunt leaving her paper lips. Jareth opens Paige, setting her down on the table before draping himself over a chair.

"I don't understand it, Paige," He begins, rubbing his gloved hands over his face. "I'm trying my hardest to make her happy, but no matter how hard I try, nothing works!" He kicks a chair next to him with a foot that he had draped over the arm of his chair, letting a small cry of rage escape him. Paige winces at the loud noise.

"Y-your Highness, with all due respect, I don't think kicking and screaming will help. P-perhaps you could let her talk to her parents. Nothing major. J-just a phone call, or something?" Jareth drums his fingers on the table, thinking it over.

"Well," He murmurs, "It's not a terrible idea. Perhaps hearing her family will help." He nods, sitting up. "Thank you, my worded friend. Now, If you excuse me, I must go learn how to make a phone out of a crystal ball."
