I shoo everyone in the room out, asking a goblin to get Paige from the library. The stout green goblin leaves and returns with Paige, a worried look on her face.

"He told me what happened. Are you okay?" Paige furrows her brow worriedly. I nod, biting my lip.

"I'm fine. It's Jareth I'm worried about. I have no idea how powerful Cynthia is, or where she's keeping him... Or if he's even okay..." I feel tears brim in my eyes for the second time today, wiping them away quickly. I sniff, shaking my head. "I have to go after him."

Paige gasps, almost falling out of the goblin's stumpy arms. "Y-you can't? What about the baby?"

"I'm not raising this child on my own, Paige. And besides, who else will save him? A goblin? No." The goblin holding Paige harrumphs slightly. "Sorry. Anyway, I need to do this. And I want you with me." Paige's eyes widen, her mouth opening slightly.

"J-jessica! Are you sure?" I nod.

"You know more about this place than I ever will. I'll need your help. Are you with me?"

Paige closes her mouth, thinking for a moment, and then putting on a brave face. "I'm with you. I promise."  I smile, telling the goblin to set Paige down on my bed.

I look in my closet for some sort of adventure worry clothing. I find a pair of leggings. I pick the shoes with the most grip, and slip them on. I look down at my chest, biting my lip as I realize I'm still wearing Jareth's shirt. He's probably sitting in a cage shirtless somewhere... I snap myself out of it, grabbing Paige. I find a small backpack hanging in a compartment in my closet, and I pack a container of water, a small bag of food that the goblins had prepared for me (they told me that it would keep me filled for the whole day with 1 bite. Think Lembaas bread), and Paige.

"In order to get to the faerie kingdom, we must find something that is from her world," Paige says, her voice slightly muffled from the backpack. I stop and think, before swiping up a bit of the glitter left on the bed.

"Does Faerie queen glitter count?"

"It does."

"Then we are set."

Paige says something, and before I can ask what it was, we are standing before a large, threatening arch.

"The faerie kingdom," I breathe, my eyes widening.

I take a small breath, before running up to the door, and pulling on the handle.

Here we go...

(A/N: Don't you just love cliffhangers? I sure do. Gives me time to plot. I'm trying my hardest to keep writing, I really am. If it seems like my writing is getting boring, I'm sorry. I really am trying. Anyway. I love you all. What should I call you? Lovelies? Fans sounds so stuck up, and readers is so generic... Labyrinthians? That's cool! You are all my Labyrinthians! :D Anyway, more chapters to come, hopefully soon.)
