My eyes slowly opens, squinting to adjust from the brightness. I look around my room, 'When was the last time I cleaned my room?' I asked myself.

I grabbed my phone from my nightstand. 8:25am

Why the fuck so early?

I sat up, slipping on my pair of fuzzy slippers. I put my hair up in a messy bun and walked out of my room. Walking down the stairs half asleep is dangerous! I almost slipped but caught myself.

"Good morning stupid bitch!" My best friend Ray greeted.

"Good morning" I said smiling.

I walked up to the table and sat down beside her. I slide her bowl of cereal in-front of me and started eating.

"Bitch! Thats my fucking cereal!" She screamed

"Im to lazy! Get yourself another!"

"Bitch! Its been about 1 month since we lived together in this house on our own and you still don't know how to fucking do shit for your own!" She explains

"Do I look like I fucking give a single shit? I don't think so."

She just chuckled and went straight back, scrolling through her phone.

Me and Ray have been best friends since we were 7 years old. Her family was like my own, since my real once...you know...left me. My parents divorced and both left me alone at our house. No letters, no goodbyes, no nothing. I was 9 when it happened. I cried myself to sleep and even starved myself since no one was there to feed me.Who leaves their children like that? Just vanished? I was the one who went to Ray's house to ask for help. Thankfully they did help me. Even for my education. They treated like I was part of their family, and now I really am! They adopted me!

My real mom was abusive and so is my dad. Every time I come back from school. I always get beaten up for no reason.
