•Amber's P.O.V•

He looks at me, then to Daniel, then back to me. He lets out a frustrating sigh.

He finally let go of me. I fell to the ground and started coughing. I can't breathe normally. I wince in pain. I look up to Trey, he just started at me.

"Im not done with you." He said. He walks out.

Zach came running to me.

"Amber! Are you ok?! Im sorry I didn't save you! I-I did know where you were! Im so so sorry."

"I-it's ok Z-Zach. It's n-not your fault."

"Bu-"

I cut him off by saying, "just please go to Daniel and help him."

He said sure and went to Daniel. I finally got my breathing right and dashed to Daniel and Zach. Daniel was sitting while Zach is supporting him by putting his hand on Daniel's back.

"Daniel? Are you ok?" I asked

"Y-yeah. Im good." He said

"No. I can see pain. Let me see your stomach." I said. He has his hand in his stomach like there is something there.

"No! Im good! I promise."

"Let me see it Daniel! Please!"

He lets out a sigh and rises his shirt up. I see really bad bruises

"Fuck! Daniel, I'm so sorry." I say as I tear up again.

"Amber. Why are you apologizing?"

"He is my ex. He did this to you because of me."

"Hey, look at me. It is not your fault ok? It is his, not yours. Never blame yourself for this." I nodded slowly and gave him a small smile.

"Thank you, but, we need to treat your bruises. Come on." I say

Zach and I helps Daniel up. We went his room. We sat him on his bed.

"Zach, go buy something to eat." I said

"Ok. Want something specific?"

"No thanks. Just buy snacks and dinner."

"Ok. I'll call Jack and Ray to help me. They're probably out somewhere having a date. But, I'll ruin it for fun." He said with a chuckle.

I laughed and agreed with his plan.
I went to get ice and a first aid kit.
I then went back to Daniel's room.

"Sit up for me please."

He sat up and took his shirt off.
I cleaned some small wounds and put ointment on his bruises. I put ice on his head which also has a bruise. I push on it by accident and made him wince in pain.

"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry." I say

"It's all good." He lets out a chuckle.

I analyze him more. The more I look the more I can see how much pain he is dealing. I started crying.

"Amber? Why are you crying?"

"I cannot bare seeing you like this."

"It's ok Amber. At least you're ok."

"Why does this have to happen?"

"I don't know but I will protect you from what is happening, I promise."

He hugged me tight and I instantly felt safe in his arms.

We stayed like that until I heard sobs from Daniel.

"Danni? Why are you crying?" I asked as I pulled out of the hug.

"I just remembered what you said to him."

"What is it?"

"He raped you?"

"Y-yeah."

"Can you tell me everything?"

"Wel-"

"I mean, you don't have to tell me. Only if you are comfortable doing so."

"No, I trust you. I can tell you everything you want to know about Trey and I's relationship."
