•Amber's P.O.V•

I waited and waited, no one came in. Ethan never came back. And I'm getting more and more frustrated as the time passed.

*What do they fucking need?* I whisper to myself.

Until someone spoke from behind me,

"A-Amber?"

I froze, I know that voice...
I turn around and I saw who I expected to see,

"Mom?!"

She cleared her throat and spoke, "Good to see you." She said dryly.

"Where were you all my life?"

"Away from you." she says, just starring at me in a very evil way.

"Why did you leave me? Where is dad?" I ask.

"Don't call him dad. He never was your father." That sentence killed me.

I thought maybe she's right. They never were my parents. They didn't fucking raised me. That's when I just spoke the way she spoke to me, dry and care free.

"Well. If you'd explain everything to me, why am I here and those bull shit. Maybe I'll act right." I said.

She sat down on one of the chairs behind the desk. THE TENSION IS KILLING ME.

"You want to hear everything, young lady? Then be ready."

"Tell me."

"Let's start with when we left you.... we left you because you were never gifted with our power. You were just a normal kid. We wanted you to be just like us, Vampires."

My eyes widened... their monsters. just like what Daniel told me.

"You can freak out like most people." She continues on.

"No. I heard about Vampires that are real." I say.

"Where did you hear them from?"

"M-my uhh friends from school?" I said, more of a question than a fact.

"I've never seen you for so long but I know when you're lying." She said, leaning towards me.

"What do you mean, I'm lying?"

"I know where you heard us from. The wolf Daniel and his group. I'v been spying on you, your whole life. I seen you happy, sad, lonely, loved, hurt, and found."

"Why didn't you show yourself? And thats fucked up. Don't ever do anything to Daniel, I love him." I say with a stern look.

"I won't, but you will."
