I woke up from a short nap.
I stared at the ceiling for quite a long time.
I was deep in my thoughts when someone came in,
Ethan.
"Are you here to finally let me go?" I ask
"Sorry, I would but I'm just taking orders."
"Why are you doing this tho?"
"For my family's own good."
"Why me?"
"You'll get the answer to that question in a minute. Just come with me and don't fight it. I promise, I won't do anything to you."
I sighed and gave in. I just want this bull shit to end. Ethan untied me and helped me up. We walk out from the room together.
I just looked down.
I'm totally scared.
But the thing is, I give up. Im not fighting for my fear. It's just that moment when you and your life falls apart.
What if I can't even do what I want to do?
What if I can't marry the love of my life?
What if I can't have a happy family?
What if I die?
Ethan leads me to a office.
There's like a secretary in the front of the room.
A conversation went down between Ethan and the secretary,
"How may I help you?" -secretary
"Uhh... I have to see Mr and Mrs Rayez?" -Ethan
"What for?"-Secretary
Ethan looked at me then back to the secretary, he leans in and whispered something. He is bad at whispering because I heard what he said, "Lost savior." I have no idea what the heck that has to do with me.
The secretary gasped for some reason and quickly nodded and escorted us to another room.
Rayez? I remember that name. The name I hated. I never really want to ever hear it again. But I did.
"You stay here. They will be right with you" Ethan said.
"Who is they?"
"Can't really tell, Im sorry." He said one last time and left the room.
I'm supposed to try escaping but what I thought was, Im just gonna get myself in trouble. I tapped at the desk in front of me and observed the room. It was an ordinary office, two chairs facing each other in front of the desk, but it has two chairs behind the desk.
The name written on a silver plaque, "Mr & Mrs Rayez" I rolled my eyes, looking at it.
My main thought was,
Is Daniel ok?
