"A goodbye is not forever..."

He kept looking at his wife's eyes, she sobbed and took his hand.

"Or at least not ours, my dear..." He sobbed as well "We'll always be together."

"Mum, I wanna go... please let me..."

A really tall dark haired witch was checking her students essays when she heard the voice of her six year old daughter. She quickly looked down and saw her grabbing her robes.

"Annie..." She whispered. The girl stared at her. "But I already told you..."

"I know... you're busy running Hogwarts and I shouldn't disturb..." She interrupted her "But mum, I really want to go and see papa and granny... Please..."

The dark haired witch sighed and pick her little daughter up to then let her lie on her lap. The girl still kept her eyes on her mother's.

Her mom, Mabel, looked so much like her granny, Minerva. She was tall, strict and serious; besides, she had the same dark hair she had seen on pictures and the same "tough" look and hard temper, as her uncle Charlie used to say. All her looked like her young grandmother, everything was the same except for her eyes; they were sparkling light blue, just like the eyes of her granny's husband, Albus.

"And why do you want to see my parents, Annie?" Mabel asked. The little Annie just smiled.

"They are nice, mum..." she responded. "My granny Min has always been nice... I remember that when I stayed here with them on vacations, she used to bake cookies for me in the kitchens. She even let the house elves go and rest! But all because she said it was funnier if we tried to bake alone... Only grandmother and granddaughter... together." Mabel smiled.

"Oh well... Your granny Min is indeed nice, isn't she?" She said with a smile. Her daughter's words made her go back in time and remember how much she loved to spend time with her parents when she was little. She still remembered her mother's disapproving look and her father's smiling face while he ate lemon drops and wore his favorite socks; or when she used to slept in their bedroom right between them, surrounded by the fresh and sweet aroma of lemon grass and love.

"She is really nice of course, and so is papa!" Annie squeaked happily, bringing Mabel back from her memories. "Papa is always telling me stories about love and friendship..."

"Love?" Mabel asked. Annie nodded.

"Yes! He even told me how he met granny, and how much he loves her smile... and her eyes" the witch laughed.

"Oh Da..."

"Ye... But mum, it's cute!" She exclaimed. "He even showed me pictures of them together... They looked so young!" Mabel laughed again "Oh and you were there too... You were so tiny! They love you so much mum..."

"Yes... They do. And they love you as well."

"Wuuu! And I love them." Mabel patted Annie's dark hair. "Mum... You look so much like the young granny that is scary..." The woman laughed.

"Yes, it's true, so I've been told." They heard someone nocking the door. "And you look exactly like me when I was little, my Annie, so seems like you're going to have the same faith." Annie smiled "Come in!"

A tall auburn haired man appeared in the entrance of the office. Mabel quickly rolled her eyes and sighed when she heard Annie's squeak.

"Damn Charlie, couldn't you wait?" She snorted. Annie quickly fell off her mother's lap and run towards her uncle, who started laughing.
