6. A Goodbye Is Not Forever (Part 3).

"Do you remember our kids, Minerva?"

"Hm?" The woman of eighty three years old, who was lost in her thoughts while she caressed Annie's dark hair, nodded quickly as soon as she heard Albus' voice and looked at him. "Oh yes..." She whispered. "They were and still are my babies." Annie chuckled.

"But mum is not a baby at all" she commented with a big smile. Minerva sighed and looked at her.

"She is for me, my darling..." Annie giggled when her grandmother kissed her head. "And so is my little Charlie."

"Pfff little!!" Annie squeaked "Uncle Charlie is even taller than papa!! And papa is taller than you, granny!!"

"True." she agreed "But still, he is my baby too. They both are and always will."

"Our babies." Albus corrected her. Minerva gave him a serious look. "What?" He chuckled.

"My babies, Albus Dumbledore." Albus and Annie laughed.

"But..."

"Mine."

"Alright alright. Your babies." Minerva nodded. Grandfather and granddaughter laughed again.

"I still remember when Charlie learned how to walk..." She sighed.

"Mabel's first birthday..."

"Their first words..."

"Lemon and cat." Albus chuckled.

"So many memories..."

1968.

"I'm going to get you!!"

"Nooooo!!" Mabel and Charlie screamed while they ran through the halls. Albus, who was going after them, couldn't stop laughing.

"Charlie we have to do something!!" The six year old Mabel said to her younger brother. The little auburn haired kid looked at her and nodded.

"What??"

"I'M GOING TO CATCH YOU KIDSSS!"

"JUST RUN BOY!"

"BUT WHERE?!"

"TO MUM'S!" Mabel quickly grabbed his little hand and started running faster towards Minerva's office. Albus couldn't stop laughing behind them. They were so little and still they worked together and helped each other.

"YOU WON'T ESCAPE! I'LL HEX YOU!" He laughed. He threw a bunch of lemon drops to their backs, simulating a hex attack, and the kids screamed.

"MUMMY HELP!!" Charlie cried entering into Minerva's office. The woman, who was checking seven years' assignments, quickly looked up and frowned. Her little auburn haired baby stopped holding Mabel's hand to run towards Minerva and clung to her legs. Mabel arrived two seconds later.

"What happened?" She asked bending over to lift Charlie up. He quickly clung to her chest with tears in his eyes.

"Da is mean" he sobbed. Minerva's heart broke inside. She quickly grabbed Mabel and lift her up as well to then let her lay on her lap. The girl sniffed and looked at the door. Albus appeared in it seconds later.
