It had been just a month that he got married.He left his newly wed bride for the call of nation.He was commissioned in Punjab Regiment, the main patrolling company.'Captain Randhir Singh Shekhawat' was given the task to lead the patrolling team 'ALPHA' through Samba district.It was one of the most vulnerable sectors due to continuous intrusion across the border.And suddenly there started fierce firing across the border.
