Chapter 8~Saving My Motherland~

Just then camp siren signaled the approaching trouble. Randhir and Vardhan rushed out and found out the militant attack on the camp.They immediately took their positions.Both the sides were engaged in some fierce firing.Militants equipped with hand grenades, AK-47 and other sophisticated weapons, attacked the camp.Randhir took the charge and attacked the militant group.He again gunned down 2 militants but suddenly militants threw a hand grenade towards him.He jumped to the other side of the tent.He started firing again and soon militants targeted him as he was the most ferocious of all.Militants were firing when suddenly a bullet hit him in shoulder but this didn't deter him from assaulting the intruders.He was continuously assaulting when suddenly another officer was hit in chest. Randhir immediately rushed towards the officer but as soon as he reached there, he was also hit with a bullet in chest.He dragged the other officer with his remaining power and also gunned down a militant in the process.Major Vardhan ran towards Randhir. He was lying in the pool of blood.Vardhan took him to a safe place.

'Paaji, I don't want these bastards to intrude my motherland.Fuck them off! This life was for my motherland and I somehow managed to save her pride.And please inform my parents, my dad will be so proud of me.I know, my mom will be angry, but tell her that her son saved the pride of her 'MOTHERLAND'.She will understand. ' Randhir wasn't able to speak.Bullets had pierced so deep that he could sense the pain even while speaking.

And a brave heart closed his eyes forever; he achieved martyrdom.Captain Randhir Singh Shekhawat succumbed to his bullet injuries.
