It was the first day of November, so curling season and quarter two had officially begun at both Lone Plateau and Northeast Cove Academies. Cynthia, Mark and Jake were all being consumed by both their academic and athletic lives. Somehow, they all still made time for spending together.

While trying to balance two lives, Mark also had a new Hungarian exchange student in his school: Micklós (Most people call him Mick, though). Since Mick is living with Mark during the rest of the school year, Mark is desperately trying to befriend Mick.

Mark's POV:

Mick's pretty cool. He's a great curler and he looks like me! We're the same height, have the same eye colour and the same hairstyle; the only difference is that he's got blonde hair and I've got brown hair. His English skills are exceptional and he's got a pretty cool accent. I honestly hope that his school experience is better than mine.

Mick's POV:

Canada is amazing! The people here are so friendly and outgoing, even if it's kind of fake. Mark says that everyone is pretty fake, including himself so I guess it's okay. I miss my family and friends, though. I'm hoping that this school year turns out to be decent. I really like that we're really close to the lake! Mark's gonna take me to see it with his friends this weekends.

I'm really looking forward to meeting Mark's friends! I'm also pretty happy with our curling team. I think we're gonna do great things. My room is right next to Mark's so we can hear each other breathing and doing the sexies, so that's really weird. I'm hoping to find some good beer in Canada, though. It'll be nothing like the Hungarian stuff.

Mark's POV:

Frick algebra, frick biology, frick french and frick this year! I can already tell that this is gonna be a year to remember because it's already been weird as crap! The school's wireless is horrible, so it's really hard to keep in touch with Cynthia, Jenn and Kristie. I miss them already. It seems Nick like this school year, though; he's already started to make some friends. He and Jake are already good buds, so that's cool.

This morning was kind of awkward. Mick saw me in the shower. I mean, he hardly knows me, but he's seen literally every inch of my body! I didn't know what to do, so I just started apologizing...
