Jacks stood nervously, leaning against the wardrobe and makeup trailer waiting paitently for Matt to finish getting ready. They were shooting Max's rune ceremony party, but that wasn't why Jacks was nervous.
He was going to finally ask Matt out. After talking with Harry, Isaiah, Kat and Em he decided to throw caution in the wind and ask his best friend on a date.
"Hey." Jacks flinched, too lost in thought and missed hearing Matt exit the trailer.
"Shit you just about gave me a damn heart attack." Jacks swore, smacking Matt's shoulder.
"What's on your mind, Jay?" Matt questioned curiously, obviously reading how nervous Jacks seemed to be at the moment.
"Uh, i sorta wanted to ask you a question. And you don't have to say yes, and i don't want to ruin anything we have because you are my best friend and my confidant and my roommate and-" Matt covers Jacks mouth with his hand, cutting off his words.
"Breathe, Jack." Matt prompts, pulling his hand away. Jacks breathes deeply, before collecting his thoughts.
"Would you maybe like to go on a date, with me?" Jacks rushed out, coherant enough that Matt seemed to freeze when the words clicked.
"You want to go on a date, with me?" Matt asked and Jacks nodded, smiling a little nervously. "Uh, okay. Yeah, i'd like that."
